No way, Neal. There were several times where Rodgers had ample time to get rid of the ball, at least throw it away, except he held onto the thing and was pushed back by the sack(s). When you throw the ball away, you don't lose yardage.

I could see the Vikings facing the Saints for the NFC championship if the Falcons don't step it up.

But that was after he had already been chased for every moment of the game.
Yes, he should've thrown it away, but I don't put the blame on him. That Packer O-line was horrendous.

And the 49ers just got better with the Crabtree signing completed.  I wonder how much playtime he'll see against Atlanta?

Finally!  So glad he'll be on the field now so we can be in awe of his greatness!  That aside, I'm hoping the 49'ers will do well this year.  And considering a slice of the 85's Bears is leading them, they should be just fine.

So seriously....

Is anyone going to bet me?

What was your bet, that no one can beat the Saints?  They're great, but they won't go 19-0.  I see a loose soon to either the NY Giants or the Falcons.

I'm actually rooting for the '9ers this year. Seems like they have a good team. As always, I'd love to see them get to the Super Bowl.

Ahh. I'd love to see them and the Bears rematch for the title. That was a great game. Things were going the Saints way until Bush did that little dance. It pissed off the ghost of Halas and he promptly cursed them.

I love our new coach and the attitude he brings to the team.

It's also interesting rooting for a fourth team this year.  Normally it's whomever is playing the Rams, Seahawks, and Cards, but this year I'm also rooting for any team up against the Panthers.  We traded our 2nd round pick this year for the Panther's first round pick next season.  They way their going now, that could end up being a top 10 pick.  w00t!

ahahaha, so true!  Who would have thought!  i knew Jake was bad, but not this bad.  I hope they sink too.  Steve Smith and Mouse both annoy me.  Mouse dropped so many passes as a Bear, then blamed the qb's as he left chicago, and then wasn't man enough to repeat his statement when it was brought up again.  Waste of a human being right there.

I see a loose soon to either the NY Giants or the Falcons.

Giants played The Bucs (0-4), The Cheifs (0-4), The Redskins (lost to the Lions) and The Cowboys (who suck balls).  They deserve to be 4-0.  They'll be 5-0 after this week since they're playing the Raiders.  I think The Saints can take 'em.

Edit: Before you make the argument: Yeah, the Lions were a gimme, and the Eagles didn't have McNabb.  However, The Jets were a legit win (they're 3-1).

The Eagles didn't have McNabb, but they had they're defense and it got rocked. Secondly, the Saints D is nothin' to scuff at anymore. They didn't even need their number 1 rated offense against the Jets.

Saints will definitely take down the Giants. Not only are they playing at home (one of the last home field advantages left), but they are coming out of a bye.

Anyone think otherwise? Regardless, it's going to be the best game of the day. It's basically an NFC Championship preview. One of these two teams is going to Super Bowl.

Except for that last bullshit play, the Saints are dominating.

Brees is 17/19 for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Well it's official. The final score was 48 - 27 Saints.

Fun fact: 7 different people scored a touchdown for the Saints.

Man Atlanta won a nailbiter. 21-14.

Bears penalties cost them the game.

Pats 59-0 over Tennessee. That's fucking ridiculous. The past couple weeks have seen some absolutely one-sided games. The Titans used to be pretty great, now they're the 2008 Lions, it seems.

Saints can eat a dick, straight up.  They're going to the SuperBowl, though.  They can outscore anyone and finally have a lockdown defense.

My prediction for my Falcons is 11-5 again, win the wild-card game, and then get crushed the next week.
