So because so many people said this game is a lot better than Excite Trucks I got it yesterday. I am glad Game Stop has the week day return policy. I just returned it. Eh, I wasn't impressed....

Well, first off I am going to say I am a HUGE racing game fan. Mostly on PC though because of control options like my steering wheel. But I play the occasional game on something else(Burnout, Motorstorm, Mario Kart) and usually enjoy it.

It just didn't click for me. I am not a huge fan of racing with motion still and didn't enjoy the randomness of it. It wasn't awuful but just wasn't for me.

Gotcha, and thats a fair view. I have cousins in my family that are huge on racing games like Grand Turismo and that stuff just isn't for me, its boring. This, Mario Kart and other more arcadey racers are up my alley though cuz i find the intensity and absurdity of it all fun.

Now, is anyone still playing this? Do you do wi-fi? I wanna get some more friendly races under my belt, i think i've only played with Maxi (and kicked his butt :-P). We should organize a non-official wi-fi night for this soon!

Well MK is still on the fence, we gotta do that again some time. I like how i've sent you a replay and challenge or 2 and never hear back

lol As for Brawl, i was never the best at it but i still find it fun to just smack people around even if i don't win. Though i was drunk with some friends the other night, popped in melee for a quick 2min match and i was the drunkest of them all yet came out on top as Link v. Mario v. Kirby

I wanna get some more game time in with this before the Conduit, and i'd prefer an online race with some of you guys. Someone else HAS to be playing this still, right!?

I don't think it matters. Wheel is nice for Mario Kart so you can feel the turns and drifts. But the turns in ExciteButts aren't so dramatically tight.

The game says you should hold the remote differently when its in the wheel but i feel that would be uncomfortable and unintuitive for how the game needs you to manauver it sometimes, so i wouldn't recommend it.
