Maybe Nintendo's 4.0 System update broke their code from the last game? Has anyone tried to use Excite Truck's SD music support after getting the 4.0 update?

If this is the case then maybe they didn't view it as worthwhile to fix the code so they removed it.

I still think it was as simple as them wanting to close off a potential source of people cheating when they go online.

Obviously removing legitimate features is the best solution to potential cheaters.

Like 30 mins before i posted here, i emailed maxi to ask if he'd like to join me in some excitebot races. He agreed but i never saw him in the lobby, so i posted here in case anyone else wanted to join, but i was tired of holding in my poo.

Anyway, has anybody got all S rankings on all of the courses in Excite difficultly. I am about halfway done with that.

I just finished getting S Rankings in Excite and Super Excite and Mirror Excite the other day. I'm going to move on next to the Challenges section and the Poker Races (ugh). I'll probably start playing more random matches too in order to buy all of the unlockable stuff.

"It's frustrating in the middle of a high-speed robot race around a Scottish castle to suddenly have your robot stuck to a red clothesline and spinning. How do you get off this clothesline? The game prompts you to move the Wii Remote in a rowing motion. While holding the Remote in both hands, move it in circles in your lap. You guessed it: This is a waggle-centric mini-game in the middle of the race. You will look silly while doing this. If your girlfriend catches you doing this, boom, no sex for awhile."

lmao. Not true, trust me

When you have good rythm you'll be able to launch off those red polls in a hurry and get 5 stars while you're at it! just make sure your gf doesn't jump off your pole just as fast, cuz you'll get your stars deducted

The red bars are exaggerated in most reviews I have read. There is usually one per track, and it's actually pretty quick and easy after a bit of practice. I understand that it slows down the pacing of the race, but sometimes that's a good thing -- Excitebots can get overwhelming at times, so I can look forward to the red bar as a chance for my eyes to refocus.

There's something about this line in the review that bothers me. I can't quite figure out what it is, but it strikes me the wrong way.

Anyway, this game simply great. I finally opened it AND played it.

I'd go and say Nintendo should buy the Beetle Adventure Racing franchise and hand it to Monster Games. I trust these people.

I'd love to see a new Beetle Adventure Racing game. Or even the original on the VC. It was rated by the ESRB back when the VC first launched along with Aero Fighters Assault but neither have been released.

It's close, but it's mostly mid-air stunt racing. I want to see another take at terrestrial, stunty tight-turning racing with fantastical level design.
