The best and the worst are exposed in our Fifth Annual Awards.

From the eerie ambient music that plays throughout the vast majority of the game, to the crushing sounds of the El Gigante, no game (this year or ever) on the GCN has topped the sound production of Capcom's Resident Evil 4. The voice acting, while still in the realm of a B-movie, has been vastly improved over previous entries and adds much needed humor in a game that will always keep you on edge. Anyone who's played this game and faced a Regenerator knows the chills brought about by great sound design.
