The remastered version of the Nintendo 64 gem will arrive in Japan this summer.
Today Nintendo opened the official website for Star Fox 64 3D, and also revealed the game's Japanese release date.
Star Fox 64 3D will launch in Japan on July 14, 2011. No possible pricing was listed on the site.
Besides a concrete release date, Nintendo also showed off some footage of the game in the form of a cutscene. You can check out the video below.

Zelda will be arriving in Japan this June.
Yesterday, Nintendo revealed release dates for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for both North American and European territories. That left only Japan without a date, but that didn't last for long.
Today, Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will launch in Japan on June 16 for ¥4,800.

Square Enix is bringing the highly anticipated game to the Wii this quarter.
After being announced for a release in Japan this month, Nintendo announced today that Chrono Trigger will arrive in European territories sometime this quarter.
No specific release date was revealed, but expect to see it on the service before July.

Nintendo opens the doors to its new Pokémon feature a day early.
After being delayed numerous times Nintendo opened the doors to its much-anticipated new Pokémon feature, the Pokémon Global Link.
While it was not supposed to officially launch until tomorrow, gamers can check out the site a day early. There are, however, some limitations to the site, most notably the absence of some features which may arrive tomorrow upon its official launch.

A recent OFLC update reveals the developer for the upcoming remake.
Today, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D received a rating by the OFLC, and with it came the revelation that Grezzo, Co. Ltd. is developing the upcoming remake. Grezzo is the company behind the recent Japan-only WiiWare game Line Attack Heroes.

Nintendo set to release Steel Diver this May in Japan.
Nintendo recently announced that Steel Diver will be released in Japan on May 12 for 4,800 yen. While the game has been available in North America since the 3DS launch, gamers in Japan and Europe have yet to receive the first-party title. The game was originally scheduled to launch in Japan on March 17 but was pushed back after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami hit on March 11.

Ace Attorney Investigations 2 will not be localized.
In a recent Capcom Q&A video, Christian Svensson was asked "Is Ace Attorney coming to the US?" His answer was, "I assume that means Ace Attorney Investigations 2. The answer is 'no.' Sorry about that." After several days of distraught fans posting on the Ask Capcom forum thread asking for more details, he elaborated on his earlier comment.

With a new title, and Nintendo signed on to help distribute, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter is headed to Europe.
Nintendo of Europe and Namco Bandai have announced a plan to bring the Nintendo DS RPG Solatorobo to Europe. Nintendo will distribute the title and will be responsible for sales and marketing.
Solatorobo tells the story of Red Savarin, an anthropomorphic dog who pilots a mechanized robot as he travels across the floating islands of the Shepherd Republic. Beyond the use of his "mecha" Red can also transform into a human.

Analysts weigh in on the system's first month sales.
Since its release on March 27, sales of the 3DS have slowed down in North America, according to Lazard Capital Markets. This is despite the system seeing one of the best first-day sales in any handheld release to date.
Colin Sebastian, the group's senior analyst, explained that, "Based on our recent checks, we believe that sales of the 3DS have slowed considerably since the initial launch window."

Tattoos and birds lead the way in this week's selection of downloadable games.
Today's Nintendo Downloads update has five new titles, three for DSiWare and two for WiiWare.
The first title is Art of Ink by Sabarasa. This is a tattoo parlor simulator where players use the stylus and Nintendo DS touch screen in order to draw onto a person, all while making sure they are pleased. The tattoo game can be downloaded for 800 DSi Points ($8).

The British boy band team up with Nintendo to shoot adverts for the new duo of Pokémon games.
Earlier this week Nintendo UK announced that they are partnering with One Direction, from The X Factor series, to promote Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.
The boy band recently attended the launch for the duo of games in the UK last month and have filmed commercials for the games. The adverts will premiere on British TV this Monday, April 11.

Over the past few days, many Japanese retailers have listed Class of Heroes 3D for a July release in the region.
The retail listings also revealed some new details on the game, such as the game's inclusion of the SpotPass feature. By taking advantage of this mode, you can obtain information on other player's parties.

Earlier this week, D3Publisher announced that its first Nintendo 3DS game has gone gold and is due out on May 10.
Dream Trigger 3D is an arcade shooter in which players must expose enemies using a sonar and shoot them into multicolored patterns.

Adventure Island II arrives on the Virtual Console service this Friday.
Adventure Island II will be arriving across Europe this coming Friday for the Wii's Virtual Console for 500 Nintendo Points.
Adventure Island II was originally released for the NES in 1991. The game has been available on the Japanese Virtual Console since late last year.
No release info has been given for North America.

Capcom's debut Nintendo 3DS title is set to become a best-seller.
Since the launch of Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition a little under two months ago, Capcom has shipped over one million copies of the game to retailers worldwide.
This figure means that SSFIV 3D is set to become one of Capcom's most successful handheld titles in recent times, second to the Japanese phenomenon known as Monster Hunter.

Poor sales in Japan cause Nintendo's stocks to drop for five consecutive days.
Yesterday, the investment services company Fisco issued a report about Nintendo's stock prices, which have continually dropped for five consecutive days.
One of the largest factors in the decline are the current underwhelming sales of the Nintendo 3DS. While it had a strong debut in Japan, sales tapered off, and the system was outsold by the PlayStation Portable last week by over 15,000 units.
