This Final Fantasy rhythm game hits the Nintendo 3DS this summer.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy will be heading to North American retailers for release on July 3, 2012, according to Square Enix.
Square Enix had previously revealed that the game would be coming to North America at some point this summer, and now the official date is known. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy celebrates 25 years of the Final Fantasy series by including musical entries from the franchise's entire history.

Join Sora and Riku on another Kingdom Hearts journey this summer.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is set to release in North America on July 31, according to Square Enix.
Kingdom Hearts 3D joins two protagonists, Sora and Riku, as they complete the Mark of Mastery Exam. The games new battle system allows players to switch between these playable characters using the Drop Gauge.

To get ready for the upcoming movie, Men in Black 3, Activision has revealed more on the next Men in Black game.
Men in Black: Alien Crisis is heading to the Nintendo Wii on May 22, according to Activision.
In the game, you will play as Peter Delacoeur, one of the MIB agents in training. Your job is to find the enemy aliens that are preparing to destroy the Earth.

A new countdown suggests we will be getting more information soon.
New information on the Crossover project between Sega, Capcom, and Namco Bandai might be revealed next week, when the countdown timer reaches zero on the mysterious games website.
The game was officially teased during the Nintendo Direct event in February, but no real information was given.

Along with a press release that reconfirmed Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is heading the 3DS this fall, Disney revealed some screens of the game. The new screens show off characters like Beast, Peter Pan, and Captain Hook.

Technically it's after the recent spring 2012 date, but only by a week.
Heroes of Ruin, n-Space's ambitious 3DS dungeon crawler, is slated to hit stores on June 26 in North America, according to publisher Square Enix.
The game will be playable at PAX East in Boston this weekend. You can read all about Heroes of Ruin in our various previews and impressions. It features online co-op for four players, tons of loot, voice chat, and StreetPass and SpotPass functionality.

GameStop is currently selling 3D Classics: Kid Icarus as a timed exclusive. Club Nintendo users with spare coins can get Metal Torrent, You, Me & the Cubes, and Excitebike: World Rally.
Nintendo's Club Nintendo game rewards, which started late last year, are offering three new titles for coins earned by buying games and taking surveys.
The lone 3DS title is a DSiWare game called Metal Torrent, which is a shoot-'em-up made by Arika and published by Nintendo. It is available for 150 Coins, and you can check out our impressions of it for more info.

This is a sign that Virtual Console on Wii is definitely on its last legs.
Prince of Persia for Super Famicom and Metal Slug 3 for Neo Geo will be the only two Wii Virtual Console releases in Japan next month. This is the lowest total of Virtual Console releases on the system in a month in Japan ever.

Hopefully it won't get delayed again and become a GameStop exclusive.
Rhythm Thief, which is coming out in Europe on April 5, isn't coming out in North America until July 10, according to Sega's official blog.
The lengthy release disparity between European and North American Sega release dates isn't new, unfortunately. Crush 3D came out in Europe in January, and only came out in North America earlier in March as a budget-priced GameStop exclusive.

While always planned for 3DS, it started development before development kits were even available.
Kid Icarus: Uprising has been in development so long that Masahiro Sakurai and Project Sora started working on it on PC and Wii before Project Sora was even officially formed, according to the latest Iwata Asks on the game.
"At first we didn't have the Nintendo 3DS development kit, so we started making it on a PC. Oh, and for a while we were using a Wii to make it!" Sakurai said and followed it up with an Iwata Asks-staple laugh.

Wario's brush with immortality comes to 3DS - in color too!

Australians should speed towards the eShop soon to tackle Potzol's Puzzle!
The puzzle game SpeedThru: Potzol's Puzzle has been announced to launch on the Australian eShop on April 5, 2012.
The game offers an immersive 3D world which puts players' skills of spatial awareness to the test. SpeedThru: Potzol's Puzzle features over 90 stages, along with three multiplayer modes.
