Nintendo has released some slightly more detailed specifications for both the Wii U and its GamePad controller.

They are also publishing the upgraded port based on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game.

Nintendo is working with Tecmo on Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, according to a Nintendo representative at E3 2012. The extent of which isn't fully known, but reportedly Nintendo assisted with using the Wii U's unique control inputs.

The Nintendo rep also said that the goal is to improve on the game, which had a lackluster critical response when it came out earlier this year.

The games are being developed by different teams.

The details are slim, but the news is good.

Wii Virtual Console games will transfer over and be playable on Wii U. In an interview with ABC News, Nintendo Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Scott Moffitt revealed that users would be able to transfer over their Wii Virtual Console games. These games would retain their original display resolution, as they do on the original Wii.

Asymmetric cooporative gameplay will be imported from 3D to 2D Mario.

After their E3 press conference today, Nintendo uploaded Iwata asks: New SUPER MARIO BROS. U, in which Takashi Tezuka answers many questions from Iwata.

The name of this launch title was changed from New SUPER MARIO BROS. Mii. Though the word "Mii" was dropped from the title, Miis will be still available, and using their Miis allows players to easily discern which player controls which character.

SiNG, the working title of an interactive dance/karaoke game, was shown by Nintendo during their press conference today.

Developed by FreeStyleGames, who made DJ Hero, and scheduled for a holiday release, SiNG allows an unlimited number of people to participate in singing and dancing activities.

Wii U owners can experience the gorgeous platformer at launch.

Trine 2: Directors' Cut was revealed for release on the Wii U during today's Nintendo press conference.

A Wii U exclusive, the game features the original content from Trine 2 along with system-specific enhancements, a new mode known as "Magic Mayhem," and the yet-unreleased expansion pack.

Trine 2 is set for release alongside the Wii U's launch.

Two player support comes at a cost.

Nintendo posted a Twitter update about playing with multiple Wii U GamePads, stating that for games that utilize two controllers will experience a drop in framerate. The Wii U will lower the framerate to at least 30fps. Apparently switching one off will smoothly transition the framerate back to normal.

Nintendo's post-conference video showcased this motion-controlled Nintendo Land attraction.

Solve crimes in a massive LEGO city with the Wii U GamePad.

LEGO City Undercover was presented today at Nintendo's E3 press conference.

The game has players solving crimes in an open-world LEGO city. The Wii U game pad plays an integral role in the story, as players can choose missions from around the city by dragging the map and tapping the game screen. The GamePad can also be used as a scanner to find hidden criminals.

In Luigi’s Manison 2 on 3DS, there will be more mansions, more challenges and more ghosts, according to details announced during Nintendo’s E3 conference today.  

There will be multiple mansions in the new game, and each will have mission-based challenges and new types of ghosts. With each new type of ghost there will be an emphasis on different strategies for catching it. 

The 3DS iteration of Paper Mario will be available in stores and for download this year.
