It seems that Atari is committing to an October launch
Atari announced today via press release that RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D will be hitting store shelves on October 16, 2012.
The game was originally set for an early 2012 release, but suffered a slew of delays on Atari's behalf, pushing it back almost a full year.

A supposed screencap of a game distributor says the system will come in three bundles.
The Wii U might be hitting stores a week earlier than expected, according to a video containing information from Video Products Distributors.
The listing states that the system will come in three different bundles. A $249.99 bundle that appears to be just the system, a $299.99 bundle that likely comes with a game, and a $349.99 bundle that likely comes with either two games or a game and an array of accessories.

There's more than one cave story to be told.
Metroid-style platformer, The Cave, is making its way to the Wii U eShop, according to developer Double Fine Productions.
The confirmation came from a representative for the title, telling Joystiq the news during a demonstration of the game at PAX Prime.
The Cave is directed by Ron Gilbert, the mind behind Maniac Mansion and The Curse of Monkey Island. It is scheduled for release in early 2013.

PAX attendees chew gum, Kirby reaps the reward.
What does 536 Kirby fans chewing gum sound like? Well, it's very annoying, but it certainly didn't stop anyone from earning Nintendo a spot on the list of Guinness World Records. The masses at Seattle's PAX Prime convention masticated at Nintendo's request, chewing pink bubble gum for at least one minute before blowing it into a bubble and keeping it as such for 30 seconds.

Layton creators bring the 3DS some love.
With the 2012 Tokyo Game Show less than a month away, Level-5 has unveiled what games they will be bringing for the attending press and public. The game will not feature 1080p visuals as previously thought.
Mass Effect 3 will be rendered in 720p on Wii U, according to the Australian developer Straight Right who are developing the Wii U version.
It was recently reported in Nintendo Power that the Wii U edition of Mass Effect 3 would feature 1080p visuals. The CEO of Straight Right, Tom Crago, has told NWR that, "The game will run at 720p."

For the first time on a home console, Mass Effect 3 will run in full 1080p resolution, according to September's Nintendo Power, issue V282.
The article has also re-confirmed that the extended cut of the ending sequence and other various DLC characters and weapons for the four player online co-op mode will also be included on the disk.

Fire up your Wii, the indie-retro side-scroller appears to have finally found a publisher in America.
La-Mulana will arrive on the North American WiiWare shop on September 20, according to the game's profile listing on Nintendo's website.

The delayed title now has a more specific release window.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is coming out in the first quarter of 2013.
The game was originally slated for a release during the holiday season of this year, but was pushed to next year as of earlier this month. As reported by the official Nintendo of America Twitter account, Luigi's Mansion will specifically be coming out before the end of March.
