This Wii release schedule is incomplete and subject to change, but it's here.
Nintendo's latest release schedule for Wii gives us a partial list of upcoming games for the platform. Game titles and launch dates are subject to change, but the list does confirm the release of freshly announced titles such as Rhythm Heaven, Fortune Street, Mario Party 9, and Kirby.

This Mario Paint-like download title allows you to make your own character.
Nintendo announced today an original eShop title called Picture Lives! It is an interesting art application from Asobism Co. Ltd. that lets players create characters using shapes and colors before they come to life with animations and sounds. It will be available exclusively on the eShop.

IBM reveals the custom Wii U multi-core processors are based on their Power Architecture technology.
A recent press release reveals that IBM will be manufacturing the new processor for Nintendo's Wii U console based on the computer company's Power Architecture technology. IBM also mentions that their embedded DRAM and Silicon insulator technologies will also feature in the 45nm processor's design.

Dual screen platformer arriving in early 2012.
Fractured Soul, an action platformer that makes unique use of the dual screens of Nintendo's handhelds, is coming to Nintendo 3DS in early 2012 from UTV Ignition.
Originally a DS title, the game had been confirmed to be coming to North America on the older platform this fall through Graffiti Entertainment. The DS game no longer appears on their company web site.

Layton's fourth adventure is slated for an English translation.
As appearing in the list of E3 games, Professor Layton and the Last Specter is set to be released in the forseeable future.
No word on an exact release date so far, but a logo has been released alongside some screenshots and a video trailer. We can only hope that this brings the fifth title for the Nintendo 3DS closer to the localization process.

A western-styled eShop game is on its way.
A new download game for the Nintendo 3DS eShop has been announced, called The Rolling Western. The game has a an old west inspired visual style.

The yarnless version of Kirby will be released outside of Japan too.
The next Kirby game for Wii takes him back to Dream Land. Previously announced for Japan, the game is now confirmed for a North American release, though the game title is tentative.
The game features cooperative mode for up to four players working as a team to collect Point Stars and Ability Stars. Players can drop in and out of the game at any time.

Mario parties for the ninth time on Wii.
Mario and his friends will be having one more party on the Wii. This was announced following Nintendo's E3 press conference.
Currently there are no real details available, but we will be sure to update as we know more.

Luigi's back to paranormal activity on the 3DS.
Nintendo announced a 3DS sequel to the acclaimed GameCube launch title, showing Luigi doing battle with more ghouls and spectres than ever before.
Luigi's Mansion 2 was stressed as being not a remake or a port, but an entirely new game.
Containing not one, but several new mansions to explore, this game looks to be both graphically impressive and chock-full of content.

New Super Smash Bros. in development!
Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has announced that a new Super Smash Bros. game is in development for both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. Iwata stated that the game will feature connectivity of some sort between the two systems. However, no further details were shown or discussed.

The 3DS title will also include camera functionality for multiplayer.
Nintendo confirmed in their E3 Press Conference that Star Fox 64 3D will be released in North America in September 2011. The game was also shown to use the 3DS camera in multiplayer, showing video feeds of the faces of opponents during gameplay in order to capture the moments when the player kills or is killed by them.

More details on the 3D Mario game have been announced for the 3DS today at the Nintendo Press conference. Mario 3DS will be released "before the end of the year."In the trailer for the game, Mario's famous Tanooki suit was featured.

Luigi's Mansion sequel shown in teaser video.
One of the first game montages that was shown at E3 was for the Nintendo 3DS. In the trailer, we got new some CG teasers for new 3DS games. Including: Mario Kart, Starfox, Super Mario, Kid Icarus and finally Luigi's Mansion.

New courses, new karts, new mechanics!
Mario Kart 3DS is set to allow customizable karts, with additions such as monster wheels and hang gliders.
The new trailer showed additions such as an underwater travel, gliding through the sky, and many exciting new tracks. Classic tracks from previous titles appeared as well, such as Luigi's Mansion and Airship Fortress from the previous DS Mario Kart game.

Gold controller on the way as promotional item for Zelda: Skyward Sword.
Nintendo will release a special gold Wii Remote Plus as a promotional item for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for a limited time.
A release window for Skyward Sword has been confirmed for the holiday season this year. The controller will be available alongside the game release.

Nintendo will make the new 4-player Four Swords Zelda available for free.
Early in Nintendo's E3 Press Conference Nintendo revealed a new Zelda game for DSi owners. The title will be a Four Swords Zelda game and feature 4-player cooperative gameplay. Nintendo announced that the game will be released this September, and will be free to download.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will be available to purchase from the Virtual Console portion of the eShop starting today. The game will be available in all territories.
This was revealed as part of the Legend of Zelda: 25th Anniversary announcements during Nintendo's E3 press conference. We'll have more information as it comes in.

Nintendo and Jaleco will deliver three more VC titles to 3DS next week in Japan.
Three titles will hit the
Japanese Virtual Console on the Nintendo 3DS next week, including Donkey Kong.
The news
comes from a recent update on the official Japanese Nintendo website
where it shows that Donkey Kong, Qix and Ikari no Yousai (Fortified
Zone in North America) will be released on June 15. The release of
the three titles will bring the total number of 3DS Virtual Console games in Japan to nine.
