Luigi's back to paranormal activity on the 3DS.
Nintendo announced a 3DS sequel to the acclaimed GameCube launch title, showing Luigi doing battle with more ghouls and spectres than ever before.
Luigi's Mansion 2 was stressed as being not a remake or a port, but an entirely new game.
Containing not one, but several new mansions to explore, this game looks to be both graphically impressive and chock-full of content.
The trailer showed several ghosts like the ones seen in the first game, haunted books, mummies and plenty of evil laughter.
UPDATE: The Japanese Nintendo E3 press site shows a particular piece of artwork that confirms the presence of King Boo, the main villain of the first game. This may indicate some of the game's story, but for now it's all up to speculation.
