At 10 am PST on April 30, there will be a live event for the launch of Disney Infinity 2.0.
This event will be held at Arclight Theater's Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles, with some of our very own NWR staff in attendance. For those of you at home, there will be a live webcast airing at the same time which will cover all the big announcements made at the event.

"Nintendo is a company that can do whatever it wants."
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata intends to take Nintendo beyond video games and the public's perception of the company, he stated in an an interview with Diamond.jp.
Iwata was asked to elaborate on Nintendo's January statements, regarding the Quality of Life platform and their desire to extend entertainment.

Like last year, a major game will be playable at Best Buy during E3.
Nintendo of America announced their plans for E3 2014, which includes a video in a similar vein as Nintendo Directs, live streaming from the show floor, a Smash Bros. Wii U tournament in Los Angeles, and Smash Bros. demos at Best Buys.

New copies of NWC-enabled games appear to be getting re-releases without the logo.
At least one Wii game has been confirmed for a new print run that omits the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection logo from the packaging.
We have received a photo of a new copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl without the logo. The case also has an altered ESRB rating logo without the "Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB" statement that would usually come below it.

Capcom confirms Blue & White versions, plans for additional titles
Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue and White have been confirmed for release on the Wii U Virtual Console.
Capcom issued a statement to IGN revealing plans for these, and other unspecified Game Boy Advance games, to come to the Wii U. This news comes days after ratings by the Australian Classification Board raised suspicions about a potential release for the games.

Pokémon Happy Meal toys are slated to be the next set of toys released in restaurants across America.
After toys promoting The Amazing Spider-Man 2 disappear, a set of twelve toys themed from Pokémon X and Y are to take their place. Judging from the promotional image released, the toys appear to be flat cardboard or plastic Pokémon in front of Pokéballs that will come with corresponding official Pokémon trading cards.

Alien on the Run, a "comical escape action" game is scheduled to release on the North American 3DS eShop in May.
G-Style will be releasing the game for $3.99, although there is not date currently announced. Check out the trailer below.

Developer describes the title as a tabletop arcade combat racing game.
Eclipse Games is bringing their upcoming title Super Toy Cars to the Wii U eShop
The game, being developed in Spain, is described as ''a tabletop arcade combat racing game.'' Super Toy Cars will feature 12 tracks, which are made out of everyday objects. Players can play locally with up to four of their friends or go solo in a career mode. This mode will feature 48 events to play through, and a track editor.

The Nintendo Special Big Band performed a concert at the Nico Nico Super Conference, and one kind person uploaded it to YouTube.
The show lasts around an hour, and includes medleys for various Nintendo franchises, such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, and others.

A premature announcement?
The next Dragon Quest from Square Enix is in development, it seems.
Series creator Yujii Horii made the announcement at the Nico Nico Super Conference 3 in Chiba, Japan. However, Horii's comment raised looks from Dragon Quest X's producer Yosuke Saito and chief planner Anzai Takashi as if it shouldn't have been said.

Nintendo Phuten, Nintendo's Taiwan subsidiary, will close on May 31.
Nintendo Phuten is mostly responsible for Nintendo hardware and game sales in Taiwan. Now, the business will transfer over to Nintendo Hong Kong.
The majority of Nintendo Phuten employees will be leaving late April, GNN reported. No specifics were stated as to why the closing has initiated.

The classic cinematic platformer is possibly heading to both the 3DS and Wii U.
Another World: 20th Anniversary seems to be making its way to the Wii U and 3DS sometime soon.
The game has been rated by the German ratings system USK, but beyond that there hasn't been much confirmation. Currently, the USK rating has since been removed, but NeoGAF has provided a screencap of the ratings.

Dragonball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 is heading to Nintendo 3DS consoles in Japan on August 7.
The newest issue of V-Jump magazine gave out some details. Like it's predecessor, it will be a card battling game utilizing characters from the Dragonball universe. There will be a feature called Ultimate Universe Mode where players can take control of a character who can level up as you advance further in the game.
