A select group of North American Club Nintendo Platinum members are being sent early access demo codes for Tomodachi Life via e-mail.
The demo, which has an unlimited number of uses, also promises players that they can transfer Miis they create to the full game and that they will receive a special in game bonus item for doing so.

Gamers in Japan can complete the sports collection in early summer on Wii U.
Wii Sports Club Baseball and Boxing are both coming to the Wii U eShop in Japan on June 26.
While gamers can opt to try out each game for 24 hours for 200 yen, Nintendo is offering a special pass for both titles that will be available for 1,000 yen, the price for each of the previous titles in the Wii Sports Club series.

Pokémon trainers, test your might in more Competitions starting in June.
Several newly-announced Pokémon X & Y Online Competitions are scheduled for the coming months, with the first beginning June 6.
Seven Competitions have been revealed so far, each with its own set of regulations. Though general information regarding the upcoming events is available now, the particulars of each Competition are subject to change and will be specified in a more final form within two to three weeks of their start dates.

The videogame-streaming site will be the latest to enter the Google fold.
YouTube, owned by Google, is set to acquire videogame-streaming site Twitch.
Variety reports that the $1 billion dollar acquisition is expected to be announced soon, sources within the merger are saying. U.S. regulators within the Justice Department are expected to challenge the deal as YouTube's status as the top platform for videos online brings to question anti-competitive issues online.

One for Smash Bros., and the other a mystery 3DS game.
Nintendo has invited press to two 90-minute evening presentations at E3 this year. The first is set to feature Super Smash Bros., while the other is focusing on a “new game for Nintendo 3DS.”
The Super Smash Bros. presentation will take place Tuesday, June 10, at 7 p.m. PDT, with Smash Bros. mastermind Masahiro Sakurai expected to be on hand. The other event will be held Wednesday, June 11, at 6 p.m. PDT.

Another Pokémon soundtrack to rock out to!
Pokémon Black 2 & Pokémon White 2: Super Music Collection is now available to all on the iTunes platform.
Featuring all 173 tracks from the two games, the set costs $9.99 in the United States, with a £7.99 / €8.99 price for Europe.
This seems to mark the final Pokémon soundtrack release on iTunes for now, as all the games dating back to Ruby and Sapphire from 2003 are accounted for in the iTunes Store.

Watch your favorite WWE grapplers find new jobs!
WWE Slam City, WWE's web series for its new toy line, is now available to watch on Nintendo 3DS systems via the Nintendo Video app.
With thirteen episodes released on May 12, the story deals with WWE superstars being fired from their real jobs (wrestling), and being forced to find new jobs within Slam City. John Cena is seen as a mechanic, for example, while Kane can be seen heating up children's school lunches in the cafeteria.

Adventures of Pip. currently funding on Kickstarter, has recently been approved by Nintendo of America to release on Wii U.
The game is a 2D side-scrolling action/adventure, with Pip starting out as a single pixel. Pip's got the power to absorb the pixels of fallen enemies, leading him to evolve and grow into the hero that the pixel-y world needs.

Target is offering the Nintendo 2DS console for $99 through May 17.
That's a $30 savings, as the suggested retail price is currently $129.99. Though unavailable online, the Electric Blue and Crimson Red handhelds are sold in stores. Target also offers store pickup, so they can be purchased online for the sale price and later picked up at your local Target.

The first 3DS system update of the year is good news for forgetful parents.
Nintendo has made a new system update available to Nintendo 3DS owners.
Users who upgrade to Version 7.2.0-17U will gain the option to set an email address in the Parental Controls settings. Once this email address is set, a user can later have instructions sent there in case of a forgotten Parental Controls PIN.
