On both Wii U and New 3DS.
After many months, delays and a potential kill due to content, Binding of Isaac: Rebirth finally has a release date for Nintendo platforms.
The highly controversial dungeon crawler will launch on Wii U and New 3DS on July 23, along with the game's release on Xbox One. The New 3DS version is the second game exclusive to the upgraded handheld after Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.

If you want the angelic anti-hero, you're going to need to show up day 1.
A small burst of Amiibo will be releasing in North America on July 31, and Best Buy will have you in the store to get one in particular.
Dark Pit will be exclusive to Best Buy, and the US stores will not be taking online orders or in store preorders for the Amiibo. The figure will only be sold in store beginning on July 31, with a strict 1 per customer limit.

Un slime approachment! Ton command?
It turns out Fire Emblem Awakening wasn't the last 3DS RPG localization to spill out unintentionally.
In an appearance at Paris's Japan Expo, Dragon Quest series creator Yuji Hori confirmed that the games would be localized for France, at least:
Yuji Horii has just announced DQ7 and 8 will be released "in French"...?! Apparently a last minute announcement here at Japan Expo.

After months of speculation, the Zero Escape series will finally have closure.
After months of speculation and a mysterious countdown timer, we have an official announcement of the third Zero Escape game.
Announced at the 2015 LA Anime Expo, the title will be the follow-up to 2012's Virtue's Last Reward and should resolve the many cliffhangers the game presented.

And that bundle has some strange contents.
The newest 3DS Dragon Ball Z will be coming to the west later this year.
Arc System Works's fighter will release in Europe/Australia on 16 October, with a North American release to follow on October 20th. The game will feature 24 playable fighters once all are unlocked, and several dozen assist characters.

Nintendo's little social network will be seeing some big changes.
Sometime this summer, Miiverse will get a dramatic overhaul.
Among the changes detailed are a new private page that will allow you to save up to 100 screenshots, as well as a Play Journal that replaces the current Activity Feed and encourages writing about things as they occur in game.

Over the past several years, Nintendo of America hasn't released many games in the summer. We finally got an answer about it.
Over the past few years, you might have noticed that Nintendo of America avoids releasing games in the summer. As a matter of fact, they've only released one retail game in the month of July since 2007, and that was a bundled version of all of the Wii Sports Club games. Beloved indie game Shovel Knight is getting a physical release.
Although originally a 3DS version was the only one rumored, Yacht Club Games will be self-publishing the game on both Wii U and 3DS October 13, at a MSRP of $20. The physical will have a full color instruction manual similar to the ones given to Kickstarter backers.

As the Wii U game enters lotcheck, some good news for those who bought in on 3DS.
Some statements from Renegade Kid head Jools Watsham bring good news for existing owners of Xeodrifter.
In separate Twitter posts, Watsham confirmed that the recently revealed Wii U version of Xeodrifter has entered Nintendo lotcheck. He would later confirm to Nintendo World Report's Zach Miller that current owners of the 3DS version would get the Wii U version free, as it would be joining the Nintendo crossbuy program.

The Pokémon Company brings their free-to-start puzzler to mobile
The Pokémon Company's latest app for mobile has been announced, and it's a port of an existing 3DS title.
Pokémon Shuffle will come to iOS and Android later this year according to a trailer posted below, with Japan getting first access this summer. The game appears to be identical to the existing 3DS title, with the Pokémon at the top of the phone screen and the playfield on the bottom half.

Two new weapons are headed to Splatoon at standard update time tonight.
For short range combat specialists, the quick Carbon Roller will be available. Its high speed is to be balanced by a light ink toss, but it should get around the map quickly. The subweapon is the Burst Bomb, and the special is the Inkzooka.
