What? Link’s a secret character?

Namco has just officially unveiled the console versions of the hit arcade fighter Soul Calibur 2, and it includes one very famous Nintendo mascot: Link. Thanks to collaboration with the software giant, the famous green-tunic hero will be fighting in the excellent 3D fighter. Along with Link, is a new character by the name of Necrid.

Limited Edition Game Boy Advance SP's are on the way, and you'll never guess what game it's for ...

According to the Official Final Fantasy Tactics Advance website, there will be a limited edition "Pearl White" Game Boy Advance SP package released in Japan the same day as the standard version (February 14).

This limited edition unit comes with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, the Pearl White GBA SP, A FFT-A premium wrist strap, and a FFT-A carrying case.

He's supposed to be whooping it up with me at the all new Gameworks in Minneapolis, but alas...he's sick.

Heck if you were here in Minneapolis in this crappy 1 degree weather...you'd be sick. Well I guess that's what happens when you get as old as Nathan. You get sick easier.

So Nathan will be spending tonight getting his ass handed to him in Mech Assault by yours truly. Happy Birthday Brother! Here's your ass!

Happy Frickin' Birthday, Jonny. I have to admit, I was a little stunned when Billy not only reminded me that today was your birthday, but that you were turning just 21 today. How does TEH SEXIES MAN stay so young? Must be all that clean living and late night debates.

Billy would have posted this himself, but he was on his way out for another busy day in Vegas. He'll stop by later to add his birthday wishes too, I'm sure.

Animals Not Crossing to Europe GC

Things are looking worse for a local release of Animal Crossing with Nintendo commenting today that it will never make it to Europe. This is bad news for Australia too, as we rely on Europe for their PAL games.

Previously announced Sonic Adventure DX and Virtua Fighter Quest are due out in 2003, says the company's Japanese website.

Though both were initially announced quite a while back, Sega's Japanese website now offers the first new information on Sonic Adventure DX and Virtua Fighter Quest. GC Pokemon This Summer

Reports say the Japanese will get a GameCube Pokemon game this summer...

According to Nikkei Keizai Shimbun, Nintendo will release a Pokemon game for GameCube by the end of summer. The GC version of Pokemon will require a GBA and a copy of Pokemon Sapphire or Ruby.

The price of the game is expected to be cheaper than Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby (around $40 US in Japan).
