Nintendo confirms support for MadCatz and Turtle Beach headsets, plus three launch-day games that use them.

An added footnote to the recent Iwata Asks affirms that Pikmin 3 will be out before March 31, 2013.
Nintendo of America clarified that Pikmin 3 is indeed coming out in the launch window, meaning that the game will be out in North America before March 31, 2013.

The eShop is getting some pretty sizeable eShop releases today (seriously, they're massive downloads), care of Nintendo's initiative of re-releasing physical products in digital form. And if taking snazzy photos is your idea of fun, eShop's Sparkle Snapshots 3D has you covered. As well, WiiWare wants to get its hooks in you, and DSiWare tries you stump your brain. Hunting monsters on 3DS in Japan just got a lot cheaper.
Monster Hunter 3G for the Nintendo 3DS will see a price cut in Japan from 5,800 yen to 3,800 yen, under Capcom’s Best Price label, on November 15.
Not only that, but players who wish to purchase the title digitally will be able to do so starting on December 6 for 3,400 yen.

They broke the first week sales record of 3DS new-IP titles.
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy and Project X Zone, two new IPs released last week on October 11 for the Nintendo 3DS, have seen very strong first week sales in Japan. In it's first week (from October 8 to 14), Bravely Default sold 144,909 copies, ranking at number one on the Famitsu weekly sales list. This is the new record for first week sales of 3DS new-IP titles.

Currently, North America is getting NightSky, Liberation Maiden, free Mutant Mudds DLC, and Ghosts 'n Goblins next week. Damn.
The NES version of Ghosts 'n Goblins is hitting the 3DS Virtual Console on October 25, according to the Capcom Unity blog.
The game, originally released for the NES in 1986, is out on the Wii Virtual Console in every region. This is its worldwide debut on the 3DS.

Watch Mario, Luigi, Link, Zelda, and more interact with Maxwell on Wii U.
Mario and Zelda characters and items are going to be available in Scribblenauts Unlimited on Wii U, according to Warner Bros.
Teased earlier this week, the reveal shows Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi from the Mario side, and Link, Zelda, Epona, and a Goron from the Zelda side. They will all act in a similar manner to how they would act in their games. These characters and items will be exclusive to the Wii U version of the game.

Can you use the controller in your bathroom? Several factors will contribute.
The Wii U GamePad "will be fine within the same space" according to Toru Yamashita of Nintendo's product development department during the latest Iwata Asks.
Some individuals will be able to use the Wii U GamePad at a further range than others, but it will all come down to the interference between the console and the controller.

Activision is working with Nintendo to figure out the game's online functionality.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II on Wii U might support the Elite service and a Season Pass for downloadable content, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg informed Polygon.
When asked if the Wii U version of Black Ops II would include these online systems, Hirshberg stated: "That's our goal, but the honest answer here is that we're still working out the details with Nintendo."
