An update to the Wii U YouTube app is also on the way.
A YouTube app is coming to the 3DS later this month.
The 3DS app will allow users to watch videos on the top screen while browsing YouTube on the touch screen.

Get ready for Miiverse posts begging for likes on your 3DS.
A system update coming to the 3DS is bringing Nintendo Network IDs to the handheld.
With NNIDs on the 3DS, the system will now share the same eShop balance with the Wii U. Meaning, if you put $10 on one shop, it will also be available on the other.
The system update is also bringing Miiverse to the 3DS. This system update does not have a specific release date but will be coming sometime in December.

Demos for Europe and February release dates for North America.
A demo for Bravely Default is now available on the European eShop. Bravely Default is out in Europe on December 6 and North America on February 7.
The Square Enix RPG is also getting a Collector's Edition in North America, the same as the one coming to European regions. This edition includes 34 AR Cards, an art book, and a soundtrack CD.

Oh no, we have to save the Ohno's!
Big John Games newest title, Ohno Odyssey, will be launching on the Nintendo 3DS eShop on November 21.
The game features a crew of clumsy aliens known as the Ohno's. After their malfunctioning mothership has crashed onto Earth, the crew is spread out across the planet and need to be located and rescued.

A Nintendo Direct is scheduled for November 13 starting at 11 a.m. ET/ 8 a.m. PT in North America. The upcoming direct will feature news and details about previously announced Nintendo 3DS titles releasing in early 2014.

Riding on the coattails of Wii Fit U is Wii Sports Club. Time to get off the couch!
Another solid week! I guess Nintendo really is trying to step up their download game. Wii Sports Club makes its debut following Wii Fit U last week, and both offer free trials.
Not to mention some hefty RPG discounts for Nintendo 3DS owners and another onslaught of strange 3DS eShop games. Yes, it’s something for everyone once again this week; hopefully Nintendo can keep this momentum going!

A new bundle and a new game help the system get back on its feet.
Last week in Japan, the Wii U managed to sell 38,802 units, placing it at no. 2 on the sales charts.
While the best selling system in Japan remains the Nintendo 3DS and its various models, with 88,376 units sold, the bump in Wii U sales was an increase of about 1393%. This dramatic rise is due to the release of Wii Party U, and a system bundle with the game. Wii Party U was the 6th best selling game at around 37,000 units sold.

Four new missions of the "Battle Enemies" type are now available in Pikmin 3. One of the missions is free, while the other three coming in a pack that costs $1.99.
This is the second wave of Pikmin 3 DLC, following last month's four-pack of "Collect Treasure" mission type. Like all of the missions in the game, both packs can be played in single-player or in co-op.
