Tricky Towers Building To October 11 Release Switch

Do you believe in magic?

The multiplayer action of Tricky Towers is en route to the Switch next month.

Developer WeirdBeard has confirmed the multiplayer-focused tower builder will release on the Switch on October 11. The game can be preloaded beginning today.

Up to four players can play Tricky Towers locally or online, which has a dual focus on building a tower and attacking the opponent's. Leaderboard support will also be included.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey Receiving Cloud Edition In Japan Switch

Disclaimer: We are NOT making this up.

The Japanese version of today's Nintendo Direct revealed that one of the biggest games of the year is coming to Switch... in a fashion.

Similar to the previous release of Resident Evil 7, a "Cloud Edition" of Assassin's Creed: Origins will be releasing for Japanese Switch systems on October 5. Ubisoft has confirmed no plans to bring this version of the game out for the West.

Updates Detailed For Splatoon 2, Mario Tennis Aces Switch

It'll be easier than ever to squad up and support Marina.

Upcoming updates for Splatoon 2 and Mario Tennis Aces have been revealed.

The Splatoon 2 4.0 update will launch tonight, and will add new gear and weapons. Additionally, Splatfests will now feature easier teaming with friends, and bonuses will be available for consistently performing teams. A Pro Mode will also be available, and random battles will allow for 10x or even 100x modes.

The alien invasion of the Switch will be landing in November.

Warframe, the free to play shooter announced for Switch in July, has confirmed a release date of November 20. The game offers play with "over 38 million players", indicating that crossplay will be available for the game.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Getting Hardware Bundle; GameCube Controllers Releasing Early Switch

Super Smash Bros Ultimate will have a hardware bundle, and it's launching earlier than would be expected.

The hardware bundle will launch on November 2 and will include a dock with the original eight Smash Bros characters and specially adorned Joy-Cons. A download code for Smash Bros Ultimate will be included, but according to Nintendo it will not be live until December 7.

New Modes Announced For Super Mario Party Switch

Super Mario Party continues to reveal new modes ahead of its unveiling next month.

Two new modes were announced in today's Nintendo Direct: Sound Stage, a motion rhythm mode, and the co-op River Survival mode. Both modes have four player support.

Super Mario Party will launch on October 5.

Some big news has emerged from the world of Animal Crossing.

A new Animal Crossing title was announced in the Nintendo Direct. No subtitle was given, only a 2019 release date and an introduction from Tom Nook for the new game.

Before that, Isabelle will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The dreaded stop sign and gyroids were among her attacks.

Yoshi's Crafted World Officially Named Switch

Yoshi's next trip to a craft-like world is hitting Switch in Spring 2019.

Yoshi's Crafted World is coming to Switch in Spring 2019, a minor delay from its planned 2018 release.

The adorable craftwork game comes from GoodFeel, who made Kirby's Epic Yarn and Yoshi's Woolly World. The game features co-op and Poochy. Much like its demo at E3 2017, levels be played both forwards and backwards. More information about the 2019 release will be revealed as we get closer to its launch.

One of the Wii U's launch titles is making its way to Switch in a new Deluxe package.

The Deluxe version of New Super Mario Bros. U was announced in today's Nintendo Direct for release on January 11. The New Super Luigi U expansion will also be in the package.

Nabbit and Toadette will be playable in the game; Nabbit does not take damage from enemies, while Toadette can power up with a crown to become "Peachette" and gain a double jump.

Kirby has returned to his role of a system closer.

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, a 3DS remake of the 2010 Wii game, has been announced for a 2019 release. The game will feature all of the stages from the original version with new abilities, as well as a "Devilish" difficulty.

Yarn Dedede and MetaKnight will also be playable in the game.
