These downloads look deep within my soul and assign me a number based on the order in which I joined.
Hitting the Wii U this week is the beloved era-shifting platformer Adventures of Pip which Zach reviewed late last night, and the Virtual Console picks up a Super Nintendo puzzle game that also pays tribute to the Pac-Man Amiibo that released last week in Pac-Attack. Flash-inspired OpenFL framework gaining support for Wii U and 3DS.
At WWX2015, a Haxe developer conference, Lars Doucet revealed that OpenFL, an open implementation of the Adobe Flash API is coming to consoles. With OpenFL running on consoles, ports of Flash and Haxe games will be much less work and much cheaper to produce.
The first three games to be ported will by Defender’s Quest HD by Level Up Labs, Paper’s Please by 3909, and Yummy Circus by Puzzl.

Play Mario Maker and score some swag (while supplies last)
Nintendo has so many locations for the Best Buy Mario Maker demos, they set up a tool to point you to them.
The Nintendo E3 site has updated with a special tool that lets you search by zip or postal code to see which Best Buys will be running the Mario Maker demo on June 17 and 20. Early arrivals at the demo station will also receive a special 30th anniversary Mario pin.

A return to a simpler time down on the farm
Natsume has announced their first Wii U Harvest Moon game in a release today.
Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories will come to Wii U, PC and mobile "this winter" and will feature a return to the original art style as seen in the Super Nintendo and Game Boy Color versions of the series.
The game will feature the traditional farming, fishing and forestry jobs, marriage options for both genders, and the ability to tame a bobcat.

Let the localizations flow like wine as Bravely Second, Chibi-Robo, and more are announced for western release.
Nintendo of America dropped some big announcements for the 3DS in a surprise Nintendo Direct Micro today starring Miniature Bill Trinen.
As was rumored last week, the big end reveal was that Bravely Second: End Layer will come to both North America and Europe in 2016. Nintendo appears to be handling...

Hopefully the rest of the tournament isn't a secret to everybody
The World Championships can't wait to bomb some Dodongos.
The Nintendo World Championships were confirmed for a 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET start time on June 14. While the full lineup of games will be announced the day of, The Legend of Zelda (NES) will be one of the competition's games.
Rumors have a possible Zelda Wii U tease at the event, though nothing is confirmed at this point.

The content drop lands at 7 pm PT.
The first new additions for Splatoon will be dropping at 7 p.m. PT/ 10 p.m. ET tonight.
In addition to the unlock of Ranked Battles for players who have reached level 10, the new stage Port Mackerel and the N-Zap 85 weapon will both be available. The N-Zap 85 is modeled after the NES Zapper, looks amazing and has rapid fire abilities.

Streetpass is in, as well as Pokemon-Amie.
The Nintendo Direct has announced new features for the new Fire Emblem game that use a couple of key 3DS features.
A stronghold building mechanic was introduced that will allow you to place shops and homes in the area in between missions. Also featured are hot springs and a Pokémon-Amie like function for your characters. The strongholds can be StreetPassed and invaded as well.

Happy Home Designer gets a release date, NFC Reader/Writer Bundle, special edition New 3DS XL and more in Japan.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for the Nintendo 3DS and the respective Amiibo cards for the game are set to release on July 30 in Japan. The software will be released both at retail and digitally for 4,000 yen plus tax, while the cards, containing three cards in each pack, will retail for 300 yen per pack. Promising games of the summer for Wii U and 3DS
Japan's next Nintendo Direct presentation has been announced with an unusual time.
The video will air at 7pm Japan Standard Time (6am ET / 3am PT) this Sunday, May 31, the first time a major Direct has aired on a Sunday in any territory since the Direct that revealed Miiverse and New Super Mario U in June 2012.

We hope this makes up for a lack of TVii.
Wii U owners in the UK now have access to the BBC's radio and television streaming service.
The BBC iPlayer was originally slated to come to the Wii U at launch, but was held up for reasons unknown before finally being added in today's eShop update for the UK. The service was available on the Wii until service was terminated in February of this year.
