More Virtual Console goodness comes to the Wii U eShop.
Mega Man X will be released on the Wii U eShop this Thursday, May 30.
Mega Man X, originally released on the SNES, is the first in the Mega Man X series. It was followed by X2 and X3 on SNES, and multiple more sequels on other systems including the GameCube.
Mega Man X will cost $7.99 in North America or €7.99 / £5.49 in Europe. If you already own the Wii VC release, you can upgrade it for $1.50/£1.49/€ 1.49.

Europe gets a sneak peek at Capcom's upcoming crossover game.
Capcom's upcoming Project X Zone has just received it's first demo on the European 3DS shop, and will be getting a second demo on June 27. The game is currently set to release on July 5 in Europe and June 25 in North America.
The first demo, Lethal Surprise, features characters from "Sakura Wars, Cyberbots, Space Channel 5 and Valkyria Chronicles", and the second demo, Dark Hours, will take place in the Ghosts 'n Goblins universe.

Time to break out those Play Coins again!
A puzzle for Dillon's Rolling Western: The Last Ranger was added to puzzle swap today. Be sure that you have StreetPass active for your Mii Plaza to receive the new panel.
It's really great to see Nintendo giving Dillon the star treatment. Ever since his debut game on the eShop last year fans seem to really enjoy the newest addition to the Nintendo roster.

According to Warner Bros. Interactive, Techland's new game won't be coming to the Wii U.
Dying Light, the new game from Dead Island developer Techland, will not be hitting Wii U as confirmed by the publisher, Warner Bros. Interactive.
This is unfortunate news from Warner Bros. Interactive after their troubling problems with Wii U DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Currently Dying Light is slated for release in 2014 on PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Communing with demons never looked so fun.
Atlus has released a new gameplay trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV. The trailer briefly shows combat, the navigational AI, the demon fusion app and how to commune with demons. According to Atlus player's will have to master using all of these features in tandem to protect the Eastern Kingdom.

Get Randy with Monsters University.
Disney Interactive has released a new trailer for the Monsters University Play Set featured in the upcoming Disney Infinity. The trailer shows a variety of characters in Toy Box and Play Set modes.
Also revealed was a new figure: Randy. Monsters University will launch in the Starter Pack for Disney Infinity on August 18. Check out the trailer below, and pictures of Randy in the gallery.

This pre-E3 Direct is likely this year's version of Nintendo's traditional press conference.
A Wii U focused Nintendo Direct presentation will be taking place on June 11th at 7 a.m PDT (10 a.m. EDT, 3 p.m UK time). This Nintendo Direct has currently been announced for North America and Europe with each region airing the event from their own Nintendo Direct website. It’s currently unknown if the information will be different on the region specific streams.

We could be seeing more Pokémon teaming up with warlords in the future.
Pokémon Conquest could get a sequel provided that "there's enough demand and enthusiasm from the fans", says The Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara in an interview with Inside-Games. Both Kirby games will receive a discount if the user has bought Kirby's Adventure for the service.
As a part of the Wii U eShop update this week, Europe, Australia and New Zealand will be seeing the Super Nintendo games Kirby's Dream Course and Kirby Super Star.
Both of these games will receive a 30% discount if the user has previously bought the NES game Kirby's Adventure. This offer will continue until May 30.

One of this year's biggest third party games could be arriving on a GamePad near you.
Call of Duty: Ghosts has been listed as coming to the Wii U on November 5 by Polygon and GameTrailers.
Though not officially confirmed by Activision, last year's Call of Duty title, Black Ops 2, was released on the Wii U.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is being developed Infinity Ward and follows a small group of elite soldiers, called Ghosts, after a large scale attack cripples the United States in the near future.

Game & Wario was originally meant to be pre-installed on Wii U, but was bumped to a retail release after the game had 'too many ideas'
In another edition of Iwata Asks, our favorite Nintendo CEO sits down with Naoko Mori, Goro Abe, and Yoshio Sakamoto to discuss the upcoming Game & Wario.
