Could Retro be working on something entirely new?

Retro Studios could be working on an all new game, according to one staffer at IGN.

In a video playthrough of Super Metroid on IGN, one of the commentators commented on Retro's new game, saying that he has heard rumors of it being an all new IP. Though not a rumor posted on the site, IGN has been right in the past.

UPDATE: Codemasters has no idea why this was listed.

Update: Codemasters, the developer of DiRT, says it does not have a product in development for Wii U.

DiRT has been listed for the Wii U on Amazon.

Orignally shown in a sizzle reel during the reveal of the Wii U at E3 2011, Codemasters  has been very quiet concerning the game since then. There has been no official word confirming or denying this listing.

This item is swarming with Mario villains!

A Super Mario Accessory Box is now available as a North American Club Nintendo reward. The new item costs 700 Club Nintendo Coins and is only available in limited quantities.

The Super Mario Accessory Box is green and has various Mario series villains printed on it. The item is shown as being a great place to store games, consoles, and accessories.

Redigitizing never felt so good. 

Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for the upcoming Digimon World Re:Digitize today. The trailer shows off some gameplay from the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. 

Digimon World Re:Digitize was originally released for PSP last year along with Digimon Crusader in accordance with the show's 15th year anniversary. The 3DS version will feature new content including new Digimon and areas. 

Could this be the return to form Sonic needs?

IGN has released the first trailer for Sonic Lost World, which shows the Blue Blur running through Green Hill Zone themed stages. The stages are broken up into floating platforms, reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy. Also seen are the new enemies that Sonic will be facing in Lost World, as well as the classic roster of tiny cute animal life who Sonic seems to be protecting.

Resident Evil: Revelations comes out on top.

In its first week, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D has landed at fifth place in the UK's best selling games chart according to the Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

Multiple titles available on Nintendo systems made it into the top 10. Resident Evil: Revelations was the best selling game last week, however it is the combined sales of all platforms and it is not yet known how the Wii U version has performed. 

Two Capcom games will share the Direct limelight at the end of this month.

A Japanese Nintendo Direct focusing on upcoming Capcom-published 3DS games Monster Hunter 4 and Gyakuten Saiban 5 will air on May 31 at 8pm JST/7am EST/12 noon BST.

Monster Hunter 4, scheduled to launch during this summer in Japan, has not yet been confirmed for release in Western markets.

Looks like we'll be getting more puzzle goodness on the eShop!

The Kickstarter campaign for Orion's Odyssey: A Pattern Blocks Adventure by Island Officials ended yesterday, having exceeded it's $4,607 goal by $515. The game will be launching as DSiWare as well as on the eShop later this year.

TT Games employees have confirmed on Twitter that both Venom and the Human Torch would be appearing in the upcoming Lego Marvel Super Heroes, which will release on Wii U and 3DS later this year.

Other characters already confirmed to be appearing in the game by Marvel include The Hulk, Thor, Spider-man, Captain America, Iron Man, and Deadpool. It will also feature villains Galactus and Loki.

Looks like Best Buy has more Nintendo goodies than just E3 demos.

According to a Tweet by Nintendo of America, buying Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D from Best Buy will get you a free copy of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. The promotion is for the US only, and while stocks last.

Nintendo had also recently announced that they would be teaming up with the electronics retailer to bring E3 demos to Best Buy stores.

Max Factory's Link and Samus merchandise are open for pre-order in the US.

The first few pieces in the highly-coveted Nintendo figure series produced by Max Factory have been listed on GameStop's online store for pre-order.

The figures in question are Link and Samus in the heavily articulated Figma line of action figures, as well as the larger statue of Zero Suit Samus from Metroid: Other M, and are shown to have a release date of 10/30/2013.

The mastermind behind the surly squirrel wants to return to Nintendo platforms.

Chris Seavor, lead designer of N64 platformer Conker's Bad Fur Day and head of mobile game developer Gory Detail, says he hopes to release his studio's next game on Wii U.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Seavor, who also provided the voiceover for the Conker character while working at Rare, stated: "WiiU devkits ain't cheap and it's lookin likely @GoryDetail is gonna need 3 at some point this year ;) (that's top secret btw) heh!"

Europeans will finally get to enjoy this port of a great Sega Saturn game.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil summoner: Soul Hackers is hitting Europe on September 13 according to Atlus's new trailer.

Soul Hackers released in North America on April 16, 2013, and started its life as a Sega Saturn game. The 3DS version is the first time the game has been officially released outside of Japan.

The newest trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara shows off the Dwarf character. In the trailer they list his highest stats as Strength and Endurance, although he isn't able to use magic. Check out the trailer below.

Six new characters will appear in Sonic: Lost World according to a post on Sega's Facebook page.

On May 29 they will reveal who exactly these new characters are. The Facebook posting said "Six will rise from the Lost World. Are they friends or foes? Find out on May 29th."

More details about Lost World will also be revealed on May 29. Sonic Lost World is coming exclusively to 3DS and Wii U.
