Nintendo Direct Tomorrow on Upcoming Games

Get ready for news about Q4's Wii U and 3DS games!

UPDATE: We just received confirmation of the Australian direct at midnight tonight AEST.

Nintendo is broadcasting their next Nintendo Direct video tomorrow, October 1 at 10am EDT/7am PDT. The presentation focus on upcoming 3DS and Wii U games slated for release by the end of the year.

We will likely see some new reveals pertaining to Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, as well as new details on The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It's also possible there will be some last-minute news on upcoming eShop titles, such as Mighty Switch Force 2 HD, Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.

As with previous presentations, a European version of the Nintendo Direct will be airing alongside the US and Japanese videos at 4pm CET, and an Australian version will broadcast simultaneously at midnight AEST.

Didn't they Wii Fit U trial starts on 1st? I guess they're gonna talk about that.

And it's about damn time they show some progress on Mario and Wii Party.

Also i'm betting my non existing farm that they're gonna reveal some random eShop game like they occasionally do. We didn't had those in a while, and to think we had them coming up randomly for every Direct.

I hope to see a more specific date for A Link Between Worlds in Europe. November is going to be a busy (not to mention expensive) month for me. If it launches in Early November I'll probably try to pick it up and beat it before my PS4 arrives, but if it's mid to late November I'll probably have to wait until sometime after Christmas before I pick it up.

I'm sure Tropical Breeze and 3D World will be great but I really can't muster any excitement for them. Hopefully they'll show something which changes my attitude towards them.

Nintendo has been silent WAY too long regarding the next Wii U system update.  I also hope we get an update on the progress of Bayonetta 2.

With the stores being down for maintenance of some sort.  I would not be surprised to hear an update for the Systems or the Stores is coming.

Hopefully it's a fix for Netflix locking the system up & a switch to universal account system for 3DS & WiiU.

But that's all wishful thinking... hopefully the Netflix thing isn't, but universal account most likely is. :(

Aside from mindblowingly good Mario trailer i also really loved Wii Party U footage. That water party game is just brilliant. It looks like Wii Party stealing ideas from that Spin the Bottle game.


Though i can't imagine me and my company (three dudes on the edge of thirty) playing that “dance around the gamepad like complete doofuses” :D
