Capcom has announced that the fourth game in the series, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, will be released worldwide on 3DS in November. With this, the entire Ace Attorney series is now playable natively on 3DS.

And more than just the usual adjustments for a smoother gameplay experience.
The newest update for ARMS has made some adjustments and also appears to be setting the stage for a new character.
A complete list of adjustments can be found on Nintendo's support site. Among the update changes are a new emphasis on training mode, changes to handling of three way and four way matches, and adjustments to a few characters and several ARMS.

Following a year's hiatus, the Nintendo World Championships are back.

Samus is going to return in style this fall.
Nintendo has announced a Samus Returns-themed New 3DSXL for release with the game on September 15 at "select retailers". The system will have a red back for the top screen with a Samus design and a yellow back for the bottom screen with the classic Screw Attack logo on it.

Now there's no restrictions on the hacking and slashing.
We have a new member of the Three System Club: Severed.
The first person RPG will launch on the North American and European eShops today for $14.99 / €14.99 / £13.49. Previously available on the 3DS and Wii U, Severed sees the main character Sasha hacking and slashing through dungeons in an attempt to save her family.

Falco has a massive wingspan, but Fox has the higher upside potential.
NBA 2K18 may have a unique Nintendo feature: Amiibo support.
The game's Japanese My Nintendo page listed Amiibo support for the game, though the listing has since been removed. It isn't confirmed that the feature will be added, nor what the nature of the support would be.
2K and Nintendo have not commented on the possibility of Amiibo support.

The first post-launch Splatoon 2 Splatfest recorded identical results, even if the path was slightly different.

Same aspect ratio, but the classic look is back.
One of the most requested features for Cave Story+ is now live.
The first major update for the June release adds new graphic options while maintaining the widescreen aspect ratio. The key options include the ability to toggle water effects and character animations, to either have the modern style or a look similar to the PC and WiiWare versions.

The haunting adventure RIME will arrive later in the fall.
Grey Box has locked in RIME's release for November 14 in North America, and 17 November for Europe. The same price structure as previously announced ($29.99 / €34.99 / £29.99 digital, $39.99 / €44.99 / £39.99 physical with a bundled soundtrack) was also reconfirmed.

The rolling roguelike is now a fair bit easier.
One of the most difficult games on the Switch has received a major update to correct concerns about difficulty.
The "Four Peaks" update adds two more modes that use fixed levels; a fixed mountain mode and a weekly challenge with an option to take the challenge multiple times. The number of auras (passive abilities) has also been expanded to 12, and Adventure Mode has been modified to make it easier.

Persona Q2 was revealed today at the Persona 5 Music Bomb concert in Japan. No details were given, as even the simply says "Please Wait For Next Information!", aside from confirmation of the game hitting 3DS and the use of imagery from Persona 5.

Frequent users of the eShop can get the feeding simulator on the cheap.
The monthly My Nintendo reward refresh for North America has picked a Wii obscurity for a sizable discount.
Among the new additions to the reward catalogue is a 40% discount on Pandora's Tower, the last of the three Operation Rainfall games for Wii. Released in North America in April 2013 - following the Wii U's launch - the Ganbarion-developed action RPG can be discounted for 60 My Nintendo Gold coins.

The widest release ever for a pinball game with this much bounce.
The first Senran Kagura game for the Switch was teased in April, but Marvelous released more details during a livestream last night.
Peach Ball: Senran Kagura was announced for Switch release during the stream. No release date was given for the title, which is a pinball game that uses HD Rumble to provide extra feel for the pinball objects and character body parts.

Time to bust out the Scalper-B-Gon.
After a false start, Nintendo of America has confirmed preorders for the SNES Classic will begin before the end of August.
NoA made the statement on their Facebook page today, promising a "significant" number of systems for launch day and the balance of the year.
Walmart's online store listed preorders for the system on the evening of July 21, but these orders ended up being cancelled due to what the mega-retailer called a "site glitch".
