Nintendo has already offered an official solution. UPDATE: NOA offers save data repair service, announces plans for online save patching solution.

The Nanostray successor finally sees the light of day.
Nano Assault, the shoot-'em-up for 3DS made by Nanostray developer Shin'en, is available now for the Nintendo 3DS.
The game's release comes nearly two weeks after its original date of November 22. Majesco stated that day that the game had been "pushed back", but no official replacement date was set. Nano Assault is one of seven 3DS games Majesco is publishing this holiday season, and retails for $29.99.

The European downloads have been revealed, thanks to the ''New Titles'' section of the Nintendo Channel in the UK. What can you expect this week? Let's hop right in.
Pullblox (better known as Pushmo or Hiku-Osu) is hitting the Nintendo eShop this week. You will have to push and platform your way through 250 levels. Not only that, but there is even a level creator where you can make your own content. The game will set you back €6/£5.40.

Don't have the Mario games, but want the Friends List update? Here is how to get it!
Mario Kart 7 distributes the 3DS Friends List firmware update when playing over Download Play. We found this update mechanism when playing the game with our friends and family.
The update allows players to join their friends directly for online Wi-Fi matches in supported games. This feature can be only be used for Mario Kart 7 at the moment of this writing.

A recent issue of Nintendo Power released new details about the 3DS firmware update.
The details of Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS firmware update have
finally been released. According to the December issue of Nintendo Power, the
update will include 3D video recording, improved QR code functionality, the
ability to transfer game files to another 3DS, additional puzzles and an
additional dungeon in StreetPass Mii Plaza, improved eShop functionality, and

The epic RPG is hitting North America next year as an exclusive to GameStop and Nintendo's online store.
Nintendo confirmed that Xenoblade Chronicles, released in Europe in August, is coming to North America in April 2012.

The game will be coming to the 3DS in Europe through Club Nintendo.
3D Classics: Kid Icarus will be the next title to be remade for the Nintendo 3DS with enhanced 3D graphics. The 3D Classics release was previously announced for Japan during the 3DS Conference in October.
Kid Icarus was originally released for NES in 1987 and was also released on Game Boy Advance in the Classic NES series as well as Wii Virtual Console.

Dr. House gets jolly with Christmas puzzles, and Master Higgins makes his 3DS Virtual Console debut... and still no Virtual Console game for Wii.
In what seems to be a light selection this week, four new games have been added to Nintendo's downloadable game services, primarily the eShop and DSiWare.
The only Virtual Console game out this week is for the eShop: Hudson Soft's Adventure Island. Originally released for the Game Boy in 1991, it is a handheld rendition of Adventure Island II for NES. It can be downloaded for $3.99.

Players hoping to play classic Game Boy Advance games on the 3DS might have to wait a little... UPDATE: or not.
The free Game Boy Advance games promised to early adopters of the 3DS (known as Ambassadors) may be delayed into 2012, according to information from conflicting Nintendo of Europe pages.

A special limited edition bundle will come with Nintendo's new peripheral.
Capcom's Resident Evil: Revelations will come optionally bundled with the Circle Pad Pro when it hits Europe in January 2012.
A press release released by Nintendo (who is distributing the game in Europe) states: "Resident Evil: Revelations will be available to players across Europe as a stand alone game and as a special limited edition bundle which also includes the new Circle Pad Pro accessory."

My brand new copy of WWE All-Stars for 3DS came with an unexpected surprise.
Club Nintendo points, previously reserved for first party Nintendo-published games, are now being included on select third party titles in North America. Both WWE All-Stars and Sonic Generations (published by THQ and Sega respectively) for Nintendo 3DS include codes that are redeemable for 30 Club Nintendo points.

Super Mario 3D Land and 3DS sales also soar.
Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime revealed some impressive statistics regarding the sales of the Nintendo 3DS as well as two of their holiday titles in a recent USA Today interview.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, released last week, sold an impressive 535,000 copies. According to Fils-Aime, this makes Skyward Sword the fastest selling Zelda title of all time.
