The Australian release date has been given a slightly shorter release window.
Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 are releasing in Australia and New Zealand this spring, as confirmed by a press release.
The games have already been announced for an autumn release in Europe and North America, as well as a June release date in Japan. In Australia, spring runs from September until November. When Black and White released last year, Australian versions released four days after North America, on March 10.

The console follow-up, along with a handheld version, might be announced next week.
The long-expected sequel to Disney Epic Mickey could be shown as early as next week, along with a 3DS version, according to a tweet from Official Nintendo Magazine France.
Translated, the message reads:
"Presentation of the Epic Mickey 2 will take place next week. 3DS version, Power of Illusion, more classic 2D is also provided for."

Rayman's 3DS outing will have to wait a little longer.
Rayman Origins for the Nintendo 3DS has been officially delayed until June 2012, according to Ubisoft.
Rayman Origins saw release on the Wii in November 2011. The 3DS version of the game was originally scheduled to release on March 20 in North America. However, those holding out for this version of the game will have to wait just a little longer to enjoy the newest Rayman adventure.

Relive the Game Gear with this week's Nintendo Download.
Nintendo unleashed three Game Gear titles onto the 3DS eShop, as well as a DSiWare game and a Wii Virtual Console classic in this week's Nintendo Download.
The three previously announced Game Gear titles finally made their way to the service. Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble lets players join Sonic and Tails in another Sonic adventure. The game can be downloaded for $4.99.

Boom Blox Bash Party, EA Sports Active 2, and more will soon lose online capabilities.
EA will be shutting down the online servers for a number of their games on April 13, according to the company.
The full list of Nintendo Wii games that will lose their online functionality are:- Boom Blox Bash Party- EA Create- EA Sports Active 2.0- EA Sports Active NFL Training Camp- FIFA 10
If you have any interest in going back to do anything with these games online, now is the time to do so.

The game may finally see release soon.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D will be launching near the end of spring, according to Atari on their Facebook page.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D was originally scheduled for release during the month of March. The game still seems to be on track to release soon, but not as soon as we had originally expected.

Get ready for one hell of a reunion.
A new trailer for Fire Emblem: Awakening was released last week, confirming that some classic Fire Emblem characters will make appearances in the newest addition to the RPG series. According to the video, characters such as Innes, Clea, and Marth will be present in the game. Some characters and rare items will also be available via SpotPass.

The cheap or potentially free downloadable shooter on Wii U will have DLC.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online, which is coming to Wii U around the system's launch, is slated to have in-game purchases, according to a member of the development team.
The game is currently in beta on PC, and shows off a store lets you buy new items with in-game currency that you can earn while playing or you can buy "Ghost Coins" with real-world money. According to our source, this will be nearly identical to how it works on the Wii U.

The Wii Shop Channel is getting even thinner.
Several Sonic games on the Wii's Virtual Console will be pulled from the service in Japan, according to a report by Inside-Games.
The ones mentioned are the Mega Drive games; Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic & Knuckles as well as the Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog.... Read more...

A series of animations for the Nintendo 3DS begins rolling out in Australia.
A series of six short 3D animations for Kid Icarus: Uprising will be released over the next six weeks through the Nintendo Video application on the Nintendo 3DS. The first short is available now.
The animations are being produced by top studios such as, Production I.G, Studio 4°C and Shaft Inc. The stories presented through the videos will include various scenarios relating to the backstory and world of the new Kid Icarus game.

Club Nintendo isn't the only one giving out free cards.
There will be "hundreds of AR cards to collect" when Kid Icarus: Uprising releases on March 23, as stated by Nintendo.
In addition to the previously reported Club Nintendo promotion (offering three cards free to users), and six random cards (out of 20) releasing with the physical game, Nintendo has revealed several other outlets to obtain cards from.

The voice of Mario will be making an appearance on the Nintendo Australia MK 7 Community.
Nintendo Australia has announced that the voice actor of Mario, Charles Martinet, will be playing online along with various staff from Nintendo during their weekly hour long Mario Kart 7 game night.
To have a chance to play against Charles Martinet all you have to do is join the Nintendo Australia Community and log on between 6:30pm (AEST) and 7:30pm, Monday March 19.

The two Nintendo mascots lend their clothing to the game's heroes.
The upcoming 3DS exclusive, Dynasty Warriors Vs., will include two Nintendo themed costumes, according to a recent issue of Famitsu.
Link and Samus won’t be making an appearance in Dynasty Warriors Vs., but at least their clothing will. Link’s costume will be from The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword while Samus’s Zero Suit from Metroid: Other M will appear.

Users can get a free pack of cards as part of a promotion for the upcoming title.
Club Nintendo members can now participate in a promotion to recieve a free pack of AR Idol Cards from Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS.
The limited-time promotion (which will be running while supplies last) contains three cards: Great Reaper, Drill Arm, and Palutena (Rare). The cards can be used in AR battles or for display using the 3DS camera.
