Nintendo is highlighting the upcoming sequel to the Japanese hit.
A Japanese Nintendo Direct focusing on the upcoming Level-5 RPG Yōkai Watch 2 will air this Friday, July 4, at 6 p.m. local time.
Yōkai Watch 2 is set for a July 10 release in Japan and will come in two versions: the Ganso (Founder) and the Honke (Head) editions, which will each allow players to earn a rare medal exclusive to that version.

Nintendo shareholders have spoken!
According to the latest shareholder's vote, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata's approval rating is up, while longtime developer Shigeru Miyamoto's approval rating has fallen.
Iwata's rating has risen from 77.26% to 80.64% this year, while Miyamoto's rating has fallen from 92.74% to 86.81%.

The rhythm game from Sega will be hitting 3DS in North America and Europe next year.
Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Remix, an enhanced version of the 2013 Japan-only release Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2, is coming to 3DS in North America and Europe in 2015.
Project Mirai Remix is the first time the Hatsune Miku spin-off will leave Japan. Additionally, it is the first Hatsune Miku to release outside of Japan on a Nintendo system.

Now everyone can see how their Miis live.
A new Tomodachi Life demo will be available on the North American 3DS eShop on July 2, according to Nintendo.
This demo is virtually identical to the Move In Version that was previously available through a Club Nintendo offer in addition to being bundled with the game so players could give the demo to others. The only differences are that the demo has a play limit of 20 times and the bonus Panda Suit is not accessible.

The costumes will come bundled with various editions of the game.
Some Hyrule Warriors characters will be getting alternate skins as DLC in Japan, according to the game’s Japanese site. Twilight Princess costumes for Link and Zelda have been revealed so far, with more yet to be announced. These add-ons can be acquired via download codes packaged with the various editions of the game.

It's time to make sweet, sweet music.
Korg is releasing new synthesizer software for the 3DS this September in North America and Europe. It will be called Korg DSN-12, and is currently set to release on the eShop
Billed as a tool for “serious sound-creation and song production,” it will likely follow the same model as the 2008 DS title Korg DS-10. The feature list boasts sequences of up to 64 patterns and the “world’s first 3D display oscilloscope screen.”

Although it's not set to release until 2015, ESRB has already given Nintendo and Intelligent Systems' new Codename: S.T.E.A.M a "T" (Teen) rating.

Bayonetta will be able to don Daisy's dress in the first Bayonetta on Wii U.
Bayonetta will be able to wear a Daisy costume in the upcoming Wii U version of the original Bayonetta, according to gameplay footage from a post-E3 event in London.
Other wearable costume, including Samus, Link, and Peach, were confirmed back at E3 2014 when it was revealed that Bayonetta, first released in 2009 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, was going to be bundled in with Bayonetta 2 when it comes to Wii U this October.
