As previously noted, Wii Party U will also come with a GamePad stand to be used for some of the 80 different mini-games, mostly the ones that are exclusively on the GamePad.

Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze have been given North American release dates. Super Mario 3D World will be meowing its way into stores on November 22 for $59.99. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will swing into retailers on December 6 for $49.99.

Also, Wind Waker HD will be available digitally on September 20, before the October 4 retail release.
On September 20, the Wii U Deluxe system will drop from $349.99 to $299.99. The rumored limited edition The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD bundle will also release on the same day at the new $299.99 price point.

Get ready for two heavy hitters arriving on the same day.
Mario Party: Island Tour, formerly known simply as Mario Party, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds are both set to release on the Nintendo 3DS on November 22 in North America. Both titles will retail for $39.99.

The next iteration of the 3DS is coming sooner than you think.
The Nintendo 2DS, the latest entry into the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, is set to release in North America on October 12 and will retail for $129.99.
The system will be available in Red and Blue and will feature a slate-like design as opposed to the clamshell design of the Nintendo DS and 3DS. The screens are the same size of the screens on the original 3DS.

No word on the Wii U bundle.
Nintendo revealed that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will release in North America on October 4.
The announcement came as part of a press release for the ongoing The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess concert tour. There was no mention of the recently announced special edition Wii U bundle teased last week that will ship with a copy of Wind Waker HD.

The sun sets on Shadow's Kickstarter campaign.
Precursor Games’ Kickstarter campaign to fund Shadow of the Eternals for the Wii U & PC did not reach the required $750,000 goal, but the team plan to pursue other methods of funding the game.
The game, a spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem, made just under half of their goal. The campaign ran from July 25 to August 23 and received $323,950 in pledges from 5,932 backers.

Level-5's new IP is finding a home on numerous platforms.
Wonder Flick, a new RPG from Level-5 is coming to Wii U in Japan in 2014, Level-5 revealed at the Level-5 Vision 2013 Event. The title, which is also in development for iOS, Android, Playstation 3, Vita, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, is being directed and produced by Akihiro Hino (Layton series, Ni no Kuni), with music from Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), monster designs by Takuzo Nagano (Layton series) and character designs by Nao Ikeda.

Those ready for more Layton can get geared up for the next title on 3DS, iOS and Android.
Layton 7, the next entry in the Professor Layton series, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS, iOS and Android platforms. While details, which come from Level-5’s Vision 2013 event, remain sparse, the game is set to be a role-playing puzzle game. In-game footage showcased characters walking around a town full of miniaturized buildings. Much of the experience is left up to the imagination of the user.

Looks like we'll have to wait even longer to get this hack 'n slash gem.
Capcom-Unity has announced in their forums that the release of the Wii U version of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara has been pushed back to September.
This is the second delay the game has had after being originally pushed to August. The game released on other platforms in June of this year, and Capcom has previously stated that they are having issues getting the Wii U version out the door.

If you like Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, then I have news that is kind of good.
Team Ninja, the developer behind the Wii U launch title, Ninja Gaiden: 3 Razor's Edge, is open to more Wii U games, but has no projects planned at this time.
In an interview with Joystiq, the head of Team Ninja, Yosuke Hayashi, said, "Of course, I think there are games that would be good for Wii U. So I think we need to still see what exactly those games they are and how you make a game for Wii U that is perfect for the Wii U. "

Three new Club Nintendo T-shirts are available to members in Japan. The shirts feature designs for Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101 and The Legend of Zelda: The Winder Waker HD and are available for 600 points each. For gamers who purchase and register the respective games, the shirts will be slightly discounted and available for 400 points.

The second crowdfunding attempt has ended with a thud.
Shadow of the Eternals has failed to reach its funding goal on Kickstarter.

Zelda fans won't be able to resist this GamePad.
A new Zelda: The Wind Waker HD-themed Wii U will be hitting store shelves soon. This hardware package will include a Wii U GamePad decorated with Zelda-inspired artwork, similar to the Zelda 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Nintendo 3DS.
This information comes from a leaked video from Nintendo, which details The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD’s Hero mode, as well as shows an image of this new piece of hardware.

Street Fighter fans, rejoice! You now have a selection of not one, not two, but three Street Fighter II games on your Wii U! You even get a discount if you buy all three, although I'm a little puzzled as to why someone would want to own all three versions of one game. But, to each their own, I suppose. If that's not enough for you, then Ryu Hayabusa's second outing is available for the 3DS.

Smash Bros. almost wasn't the only Nintendo mascot-fest on the block.
The Wonderful 101 was originally supposed to have a cast consisting largely of Nintendo characters, according to Director Hideki Kamiya.
He said that he "got an order from the president of Platinum Games, Tatsuya Minami, asking [him] to create a game idea that had an all-star cast of Nintendo characters," in addition to other characters that Kamiya didn't specify.

Exclusive content based around the NiGHTS Into Dreams series is hitting the Wii U version.
Sonic Lost World on the Wii U will launch with a special Deadly Six Edition that includes bonus content themed around the NiGHTS Into Dreams series.
A trailer indicates that bonus boss fights in the style of NiGHTS will be included. It is not yet known how this edition will be available, be it through pre-orders, or first print copies.
