Wii and DS software will be showcased at major retail locations up and down the British Isles, providing pre-release demos of Wii Music and Animal Crossing.
Nintendo UK has announced that it is embarking on Christmas tours of major retail locations across Britain and Ireland to showcase upcoming titles for Wii and Nintendo DS, as well as already-popular ones. The two highly successful platforms will each have their own set of tour dates, starting from the end of October and finishing just a few days before Christmas.

A new WiiWare channel lets you watch TV and movies on your Japanese Wii.
Fujisoft announced this week that it is to launch a rather unique WiiWare title for Japan in December. Simply called "Everyone’s Theater Wii", the channel will allow users to stream TV shows and movies directly to their Wii.
The initial download of the channel will cost 500 Nintendo Points, and each piece of content will cost additional points to view. No details have been released on pricing or what kind of titles will be available.

The first three DS titles in Ubisoft's new brand are Ener-G Dance Squad, Ener-G Gym Rockets, and Ener-G Horse Riders.
The first three games from the Ener-G brand, a line of titles that Ubisoft is calling the "first series of girl's sports games," are now available on store shelves. EA Casual brings the popular board game to Wii supplemented with a Richest Mode lasting 30 minutes or less, as well as 12 mini-games.
EA Casual recently announced the release of Monopoly for Wii. Hot on the heels of Hasbro's new Monopoly Here & Now: The World Edition board game, Monopoly brings the popular 70-year old board game to Wii using simple controls and accessible gameplay. Cooking Mama World Kitchen features new 3D visuals, a co-operative mode, and 51 recipes.
Majesco recently announced that the food preparation simulator Cooking Mama World Kitchen for Wii is ready for production. Players will have the opportunity to cook over 50 culinary delights, such as ratatouille or pancakes, with or without a friend.

Rockers can expect three songs from each, a week apart, this November.
Activision is wasting no time in growing the library of songs that players can purchase online and download for play in Guitar Hero: World Tour. The company just announced six new downloadable songs for players to expect.
Set for release November 13 are three Jimi Hendrix songs which will supplement the already included "The Wind Cries Mary" and "Purple Haze."

Featuring full stylus control, Ubisoft's latest strategy game is heading to DS on November 4.
Ubisoft recently announced that Funatics Software is working on a DS version of Tom Clancy's EndWar to be released on November 4. A version of the anticipated console strategy game, EndWar takes place during a fictitious World War III during which players control one of three factions in three interwoven single-player campaigns with over thirty missions.

Owners of the Rage Wireless Guitar should immediately stop using them because they are potentially dangerous.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall for the Rage Wireless Guitar which is designed for use with the Wii. Because of a faulty circuit board it is possible to receive a chemical burn from the guitar if the batteries are improperly installed.
