Japanese gamers can purchase special products not available at most retailers.
Today Nintendo opened the doors to its own online sales shop.
For those that reside in Japan, the store offers products for Nintendo's current line of systems, including Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS. The store contains products which would not normally be found at retailers, such as replacement game manuals (which retail at ¥105 each) and replacement parts.

The limited edition soundtrack will heading down under.
The 25th anniversary soundtrack for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will also be coming to Australia.
Nintendo Australia has announced that Zelda fans who want one will have to register the game via the Club Nintendo rewards site before July 31, 2011. There are apparently more details to follow, and it is unclear if everyone who registers before the deadline will receive a copy of the soundtrack.

The Melbourne event would have had music, food, and prizes.
The Australian midnight launch for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
The event was to of taken place at the Nintendo Experience store in Melbourne, with music, food and various prizes were to be given away. Nintendo Australia has apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused.

They're all out of CDs.
In just over seven days, Club Nintendo has managed to issue all of its The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D soundtracks.
A posting on the Club Nintendo website, dated June 25, reads "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Official Soundtrack CD Offer has ended. Thanks to all who participated!"

European Nintendo 3DS owners can pick up Kirby's Dream Land later this week.
Kirby's Dream Land will be releasing in Europe this Friday on the Nintendo eShop.
Originally released for the Game Boy, Kirby's Dream Land sees the puffball trying to stop King Dedede and his band of thieves after they stole his treasured sparkling stars. Kirby's Dream Land is the first Kirby game ever made, and oddly enough, does not include his trademark power-cloning ability. The game will cost €4.

Australian street date has been broken, mostly.
Recent circumstances have allowed Australian retailers to sell The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D before the official release date in Australia.
Last week Australian retailer Game Traders began selling import copies of the game from the UK. This prompted other outlets such as EB Games and JB HIFI, to announce that they would be selling stock when it arrived.

Mistwalker RPG will be released in 2012.
The Last Story will be coming to Europe in 2012, confirms Ludovic Amouroux, product manager of Nintendo France.
The RPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's development studio, Mistwalker, was released in Japan in January. It includes gameplay mechanics similar to third-person shooters, including a cover system, and online multiplayer for up to six players.

The Wii and 3DS games will be coming to North America this September.
Bit.Trip Saga for Nintendo 3DS and Bit.Trip Complete for Wii will be released on September 13. The Wii edition will include a soundtrack sampler CD with 18 full songs, including music from all six games in the series.

The 3D action RPG arrives this fall.
Xseed Games is publishing Solatorobo: Red the Hunter in North America. The CyberConnect2-developed action RPG for Nintendo DS will be released in fall of this year.
The game is a spiritual successor to Tail Concerto, and third in the Little Tail Bronx series. It features a land populated by anthropomorphic dogs and cats.

New details and screenshots of the Blue Blur's upcoming 3DS game emerge.
Sonic Generations will feature online two-player competitive play and StreetPass Support, Sega revealed today. A Sonic Heroes-like special stage will also be included.
The 3DS and console iterations (appearing on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3) both feature stages that are exclusive to each version of the game. Starting yesterday, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners can download demos of Sonic Generations.

The Last Story and Pandora's Tower could be on the way as well.
A September release is set for Xenoblade Chronicles, according to Mathieu Minel, Director of Marketing for Nintendo France. The game was previously confirmed for a 2011 European release. Mr. Minel went on to say in an E3 interview with Gamekyo that he is hopeful that two other big name titles on the Wii, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower, will also be localized for European audiences.

Nintendo's downloadable games services sees five games today, four for the eShop/DSiWare and one for WiiWare.
For DSi/3DS owners, the first title of the week is Pro Jumper! Guilty Gear Tangent?!, a platforming adventure game from Aksys Games starring Chimaki from Guilty Gear 2 in a game where he must collect as many apples as possible. The title is priced $4.99.

Nintendo of Europe wanted to show it at E3, but Nintendo of America didn't want to show products they won't sell.
Europe will be getting a special Classic Controller alongside the release of Xenoblade Chronicles, and North America will likely not get the game at all, according to Mathieu Minel, marketing manager of Nintendo France, who appeared on Nolife, a French television station for "geeks, nerds, and otakus."

Orchestral music reconfirmed for the next Zelda game.
Hajime Wakai will be the main composer of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, according to renowned Nintendo composer Koji Kondo. Additionally, Kondo aided with some of the music.
Wakai is best known for his work on Star Fox 64 and Pikmin, and has previously worked on the Zelda series in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

Developer Project Sora was planning to make Smash Bros. 3DS after Kid Icarus all along.
