Say goodbye to screen-capping your daily log.
Nintendo has recently removed the Wii U's ability to take screenshots of the Wii U menu and other system-level processes.
Users will no longer be able to screen-cap their daily log, or similar features. The reason behind this function's removal is unknown.

Gamers in Japan can buy a bundle with Wii Sports Club starting this month.
The Wii U Premium bundle in Japan has halted production, in its place will be a Wii Sports Club bundle available March 27.

Pass with flying colors in dragon flight school.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 has been announced for both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U consoles.
The video game is set to coincide in June with the DreamWorks motion picture of the same name, which debuts on June 13.
The game will set players in a dragon flight school with tournaments, mini-games and training exercises for all their dragon riding mastery needs. There will be multiple riders and dragons to choose from.

Soon you'll be able to sell your games to the massive retail chain for store credit.
Walmart will be entering the used video games market on March 26.
On that date, people who wish to sell their used games will be able to do so at any of the 3,100 Walmart locations across North America. You will be able to trade in used games for in-store credit for use at any Walmart or Sam's Club store. However, receiving cash for used games is not an option, and no hardware can be traded in.

Finally, fun with flying felines!
Skater Cat will be coming to the 3DS eShop next week.
The game is an endless runner style 2d platformer where players will take on the role of a skateboarding feline named Ollie. Players will skate through 3 worlds with over 25 levels. Rounding up stray cats along the way can earn players up to a total of 90 collectible medals. Ghost runs and best times can be exchanged via the SpotPass and StreetPass features.

There is evidence everywhere.
Nintendo appears to be planning to release Mario Kart 8 in a special red case in North America.
While nothing official has been stated, the game appears to have a red case on Nintendo of America's website, and also has been shown while a Mario Kart 8 trailer played on an official Wii U demo station at Best Buy.

Nintendo didn't get too much love at the awards show, but one award is better than none.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has received the award for Best Handheld/Mobile Game at the 2014 Game Developers Conference Awards.
It beat out smartphone games such as DEVICE 6 and Ridiculous Fishing, Tearaway on the PlayStation Vita, and Fire Emblem Awakening, which is also on the 3DS.

Yes, there really were Wii games with DLC.
All downloadable content for the Guitar Hero, Band Hero, and DJ Hero games are being removed March 31 from their in-game stores.
Songs previously downloaded will still be available, and servers for the games will remain online. Many songs are going on sale, up to 50 percent off, now until their removal. To take advantage of the sale, Nintendo Points are needed. Nintendo eShop currency does not apply to the Wii Shop Channel.

The iOS hanafuda card game finds a place in the living room.
Kiki's Koi-Koi is heading to the Wii U eShop later this year.
Developer How Seven! initially released this easy to learn game for iOS devices in August 2011. A cute little koi named Kiki teaches players how to play Koi-Koi, a Japanese hanafuda card game. Thereafter, you can play against friends or Kiki herself.

To go with the Atlus' newest Persona game for the 3DS, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, will be a limited edition Velvet Room styled 3DS LL. The front is made to look like a handheld Persona book, and has a load of characters from Persona 3 and 4 in formation on the back.

The Animal Crossing: New Leaf 2-Poster set from Club Nintendo contains many spelling errors and name mistakes.
The poster with the errors depicts a variety of town folk from the game mislabeled and misspelled. Characters like Fang and Freya are labeled as Freya and Dobie, respectively, along with many other mistakes of the same ilk. The poster set is 500 coins on Club Nintendo, and replacements are being shipped to those affected.
