Will they play "Sweet Victory" when the shells are handed out?

History has been made with the first cross-region Splatfest.

The Splatoon event will allow players from Europe, Australia and North America to compete against each other, and as such the times will be different than a typical event. April's Splatfest will launch at 9 a.m. Eastern on April 23rd, and run until April 24 at 3 p.m. Eastern.

As you'd expect from the name, this game's a killer.

The ESRB is indicating XSEED plans to bring a well-known adventure series to North American 3DS owners.

The horror adventure title Corpse Party, which released in 2010 for the PlayStation Portable, received a port to the 3DS last year in Japan with an additional chapter. An ESRB rating has emerged showing that XSEED has intentions of localizing this version.

Runbow is getting a major update this week that brings a major expansion and a mix of free and paid additional content.

Thursday's update will bring Lilac from Freedom Planet into the game's cast, as well as add additional content options. The biggest part is Runbow's first expansion, "Satura's Space Adventure". New costume and music packs will also be available including a "Professionals", "Steampunk", "Winter" and "Anime" pack.

Players may have some difficult choices to make

Rumors have begun to emerge about Zelda Wii U from sources close to the matter, who previously identified the existence of Paper Mario: Color Splash.

A reliable source of information seems to suggest more than the DSi Shop is ending.

According to a since-deleted tweet from a Canadian retailer, production of DS cards may be winding down.

The tweet indicates that VudeoGamesPlus. may have "exclusive reprints" as a result of the change. VideoGamesPlus also outed North America's recent Nintendo Selects additions weeks before their eventual release.

Most of the content is already on the 3DS eShop.

The DSi Shop is about to enter its last days.

Nintendo has announced that DSi points can no longer be added to DSi systems as of September 30, 2016, with a full shutdown including the inability to download purchases after March 31, 2017.

Nintendo's notice recommends transferring the games to a 3DS, and the games will still be sold on the 3DS eShop - only the DSi shop itself is affected.

The colorful shooter continues the roll of Nindies @ Home titles.

There will be an early eShop update next week, as we'll be stuck on a whole Lovely Planet.

The first person shooter from Tiny Pixel will hit next Tuesday, April 5 for a base price of US$9.99. The Nindies @ Home 15% discount will be available for those who downloaded the demo during E3.

A strong presence in Nintendo shooters has gone out of business.

n-Space, the development studio who worked with Nintendo on Geist and would later bring multiple Call of Duty games, has officially closed its doors.

Former n-Space artist Ben leary made the announcement on Twitter earlier today, confirming that the studio had suffered multiple rounds of layoffs in the runup to the final closure.

Barely sneaking in under the self-imposed deadline.

Following a year of speculation, My Nintendo and Miitomo will launch outside of Japan this Thursday.

The communication app quickly rose to the top of the App Store and Google Play rankings for its category upon its Japanese launch. An update is planned for the app to add additional features, but it appears the 1.0 app will launch first.

No word on seagull transformation.

Nintendo has made the first announcement for a DLC character for Hyrule Warriors Legends.

Marin from Link's Awakening will be the included character in the second Link's Awakening pack, due for release this summer. The announcement was made during a Hyrule Warriors Legends panel at the WonderCon gaming convention.

It hits some of the tennets of a main Pokémon game.

Some new details about the upcoming Pokémon Go game have been announced.

The Pokémon will be found in specific areas - Water types in lakes, Grass types in forests - and finding the same Pokémon multiple times will trigger evolution. There will also be PokéStops which will hand out Eggs, and various amounts of steps will be required to hatch them just as in the portable console games.

A new challenge awaits the brave or obsessed.

The first major update to Pokémon Shuffle for 3DS was released overnight, with several new tweaks and features.

Version 1.3 includes a new Survival Mode, which uses three hearts (in game plays) and lets you challenge various in game stages with a set number of moves for special rewards. Mission cards, which give rewards for accomplishing certain tasks in the game's existing stages.
