Both highly-anticipated games now have websites. http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=21099 A couple of notable Japanese teaser sites for upcoming Wii games have gone live. Metroid: Other M and Xenoblade now have sites to whet your appetite.
The Metroid: Other M site opens with a female Japanese voice saying, "That dream...it was like watching a playback of a tragedy that actually occurred." It then loads a panoramic picture of a woman (presumably Samus) staring out over a futuristic city as the sun sets in the distance. A melancholy piano tune accompanies the scene.
The Xenoblade site is equally mysterious. It shows an epic scene of two gigantic, ancient monsters, hundreds of feet high, fighting in an ocean. The scene then changes to a metal sword stuck in the ground, surrounded by a field of green grass and a beautiful blue sky in the background. A melancholy piano-laden track also plays throughout.
Nintendo has announced Xenoblade and Metroid: Other M as spring and summer releases in Japan, respectively.
