I too would love a classic Wario stage. This song should totally be the stage's theme song.

Same with Bowser's stage. Since there seems to be more representation of Nintendo's evil side in Brawl it makes sense to make a stage for Bowser.

Same here, but the question that immediately comes to mind...

Can you throw it to yourself?

(ie: Throw it up then jump into it)

While I think it's cool that they're coming up with new and different ideas for items, it'd be neat if they'd theme it after something from a previous game. Surely there's an existing item with a function like this, in a game like Fire Emblem, perhaps?

I just looked over the list, and I guess it's about half-and-half. I still wonder why the banana peel wasn't MarioKart-themed.

I'd rather them make the items original than try to shoehorn franchise references in an otherwise original item. This was a good update. That is one neat little item.

I'm a bit devious yes.... but I bet it's possible (to heal yourself).  That would take a little skill to pull off too if you had to toss it up and intercept it, not to mention one of your enemies could snipe it out of the air.  What would be cheap is if you could just 'spike' it into the ground and heal yourself, but I also see that as being possible.

On a side note, I wonder if they made catching items any easier (as they seem to have done to the tether recovery for example)

    Today's update: Kirby's special moves

They didn't go into detail of all of Kirby's moves, though, just his inhale attack. They also showed the costumes and hats he dons after sucking an opponent.

Solid Kirby =  teh pure win!

This is just a throwable heal item at this point no team about it.  The item should be called "Other Healer" meaning you can healer others but not yourself.  The "Team" portion is a misnomer.  A team healing item should either:

    A) Only heal teamates (Throw the item if it hits a teammate it heals, and if it hits an enemy its just like throwing any other object at them)
    B) Pick it up and heals everyone on your team

This is an incorrectly named item.

On todays update: Who is the Nintendo hat character?

It heals characters on your team or the other team, so it makes perfect sense...

I don't see why they need to describe it can help the other team in the item...Would you call it the "Team Helper But Sometimes It Will Heal the Other Team if You Aren't Careful"?  Seriously...

Also, what if I am a team of one??  As in a 3 on 1? or 2 on 1?

I'm now entirely convinced that I'll be able to heal myself with this thing by throwing it to myself (either off a wall or straight up).

    Sakurai seems to disagree.

And the Team Healer has absolutely no function if you’re on your own.

That seems more or less unambiguous. But I guess we'll see.

Well we'll see... I missed that quote.  I only saw "This item has absolutely no relevance for those who normally just play free-for-all brawls," which I simply implied to mean that this item would never show up in that mode.  However the above is interesting.

If you can't heal yourself then it'll be my mission to toss these off the edge in any match with Bill in it
