True, but it's always more exciting to unlock someone to find that they have a whole new move set to master, rather than getting Falco and being all "Well wow, it's a slower Fox with stronger attacks..."

Does Lucas keep his DINOSAUR KICK?

Yeah, I played five minutes of Mother 3 and didn't understand a word of it.  All I remember is kicking a T-Rex a few times.

If your talking about the very beginning then I think at that part you were being taught how to run.

Same for me, except I'd like to see the game balanced bit more.

Kirby and Ness were nailed with the nerf bat when going from SSB64 to Melee and they were nerfed far too hard.

I'd just hope that more time has gone into the testing of the game to ensure the characters have gone through more balance testing.

Yoshi was nerfed too if I am not mistaken. He was my second favorite character in the original SSB (Kirby was the first). Yoshi in Melee felt weird. His attacks barely did any damage, his jump didn't feel the same and his moves were harder to execute.

Yeah, the delays they added to Yoshi's moves really knocked him down to crap status.

I'd give nearly all of the characters back their SSB64 status if I had the choice (except DK).

No thanks. Fox got nerfed from the shift to Melee, and he's still top tier. Falcon and Fox simply dominated in the original game.

Snake saying, "You're kidding, right? It's Mario," is quite possibly the best thing I've heard in my life. The original codec sequences with the animated character art is a nice touch (and they re-designed Snake's portrait).

OMG SO EFFING HILARIOUS ALL OF THEM~!  Seriously the humor and execution reminds me of something fan made on newgrounds like metal gear awesome and crab battle.

Snake: It eats things then lays eggs, so it must be a female.
Otacon: Actually no its a he. . .

Another interesting note, in the first video where Snake appears and says "Kept you waiting Huh?" looks like an intro to me, intros confirmed?  I guess it could be his taunt?

Snake: Mei Ling Samus just took her clothes off!

It'll be laffable once this game ships with quite a few bugs and unbalanced tiers.

Sonic also isn't in the game, confirmed.

This'll be the biggest MGS game of the generation and complete waste of MGS4 marketting.

The videos on the Japanese site use the Japanese VAs.

It's pretty cool of Nintendo to go the extra step and get David Hayter and the others to record English dialog for the game. They could've easily just translated the text with the Japanese audio, and called it a day. I would've expected as much anyway.

I wonder what Snake's Final Smash will be now since Metal Gears now appear in the stage.

I hope that the FSA has Snake duck and cover while Liquid strafes the stage in the Hind while Screaming "BROTHER!!!".

or perhaps anything involving Ninja...

or Raiden, that would be awesome just to see the reactions of all the anti-Raiden people.

also, BEST. UPDATE. EVER.

Lol looks like i was proven wrong (see: talkback thread). Still this isn't something major that people on a few other forums or people i know were thinking about when the news of snakes voice actor came up. I'm surprised at how well his character is being implemented into brawl though i am curious about just when there scenes take place...

the update makes it sound like it'll happen on the Shadow Moses level but, when and how? Will it be a random part of classic solo mode (assuming combatants are now random and not stage specific) or will this be something the player can trigger in Brawl mode (like fox calling for backup)?

if the latter this has the potential to take away from the action which i'm worried about

Now there NEEDS to be a MGS game on the Wii.

This is the best advertising for MGS to Nintendo fans, EVER...
