The Greening (Or Not) of the Wii Software Library

... But Not Green Enough

by Nick DiMola - November 11, 2008, 11:35 pm EST

On one hand, the Wii is getting franchises that never showed up on the GameCube. On the other, there are still plenty of titles that would be perfect on Nintendo's latest console, yet aren't.

With Nintendo finishing in last place last generation, the GameCube missed out on a number of gems that made their way to either the Xbox or PlayStation 2. Fortunately for Nintendo fans, the Wii is the market leader this generation and it is boasting a control scheme that would improve on many of these great titles and give them new life.

Of course Carmine has given us a breakdown of three Wii titles, each of which are continuing classic franchises that have never appeared on a Nintendo system prior. To show Carmine that it still isn't good enough I have three more franchises that should be on Wii and still aren’t.
