No, you don't need to unwrap thousands of Wonka Bars to get one.

Nintendo loves to mock those who have bought their products early by coming out with new colors after most of the people have settled with one. This time, if one of the dozen or so of available GBA SP colors haven't caught your eye as of yet (Cobalt, Platinum, Flame, Onyx, Famicom, Pearl Pink and Blue, Gundam Red...), Nintendo figures this latest Japanese shade will be impossible to overlook.

The Gold Game Boy Advance SP

The New Gold GBA SP is currently only available exclusively through Toys 'R Us Japan, for the standard price of ¥11,999 ($110-ish). There isn't any indication if this color will or will not come to the States at the present time, though.

I gotta Onyx one that I imported way back in like March, since we Americans got shafted and all. Now that the black ones are now readily avaliable stateside, I gotta keep it current, ya digg? My spanking new Pearl/Milky Blue GBA SP will be arriving in the post on Friday. What to do with the black one, you ask? Well, I'll prolly hang on to it for FF:CC's sake......but I also bet it would make a great stocking stuffer face-icon-small-smile.gif

There have been rumors that North American Toys 'r Us stores will be getting the same unit. In fact, several IGN readers have confirmed this with some stores that have the Gold Game Boy Advance SP listed in the store's computers.
