Online soon after launch? SegaNET? PGC thinks so.
Nintendo quietly announces plans for Sega to port the revision of their popular Phantasy Star Online game.
According to the press release, it's being released by Sega of America, and will be released sometime in 2002.
This must mean that there will be some form of internet/online play straight out of the box. Whether it be through SegaNET or a proprietary online server, GC players can rest assured that Nintendo is not being left behind in the race to establish itself as an online gaming presence.
