Trailer reveals more about the combat and story.

Nintendo and developer Ganbarion released a second trailer today for the upcoming Pandora's Tower on the Everybody's Nintendo Channel in Japan. Slightly over two minutes long, the new trailer shows off more of the in-game graphics, combat, and more of the story. The main premise of the game revolves around a young girl named Ceres (the girl with the marking on her back) who is forced to eat beast flesh to rid herself of curse that is turning her into a beast. The beast flesh is obtained by Ende, the knight-like, chain wielding hero that the player will control throughout the game. From the trailer, it appears that the player will  use the Wii pointer to control the chain.

Check out the trailer below and expect to hear more on Pandora's Tower leading up to its release on May 26.

Ok whose making this again.  Seeing the part of the cutscene that correlates with that thats... Weird.  This video reminds me of Devil May Cry minus the scorings.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, yeah, this looks pretty cool. I hope we get this. Really, Nintendo has tons of games - they can have the best lineup of any dying system yet, if they play it right, I pray to the gaming God's that they do!

I just don't think this is coming to North America. Just a feeling. Here's hoping, though. Maybe Atlus will pick it up? Or that other one that publishes obscure Japanalia?

So, they're using the best part of the Wii remote, its pointer, for the chain mechanic. Nice. Seeing as how I don't see any mention of Wii Motion Plus support, I guess that's the only new control feature brought by the Wii Remote the developer is using. Well, at least for now.

I think the chain be a good use for the Wiimote.
