Sometimes the last minute grenade is actually a stink bomb, but this week it was a celebratory firework.

Things were looking bleak for the eShops this week when this process began on Saturday, where it looked for all the world that the main releases were another Aksys / Idea Factory collab (Over RequiemZ - and yes, it is set in Oz) and the threatened DayZ Switch 2 release. Hekke grace, we ended up with a nice surprise a bit ago when the Switch 2 version of 1000xResist popped up on the eShop: more details here.

THINGS WE MISSED LAST WEEK: A surprise double-drop of Lord of the Rings: The War in the North, and Everspace 2 made its way over.

IS THE EGGCONSOLE GAME PLAYABLE IN ENGLISH: It's an untranslated Dragon Slayer game (which begat The Legend of Heroes, you know the drill) so there might be a fan translation but it's not present here.
