lol.  Me too Mouse Clicker.  Me too.  Especially since I don't know how to use the word "skank" outside of Canadian? slang.
Once I had, a little game
I liked to crawl back into my brain
I think you know the game I mean

I've typically only heard it used in reference to ska music, but we all know Bloodworth is the innovator of language.

I just got the game in the mail today after a verrry long school day. I might type a review up later but am too lazy right now. All I'm gonna say is the game is awesome, and hard (for me).

I can't play the game until my birthday But I have a slightly off-topic question: did anyone else have a hard time getting the bonus disc out of the box? I was afraid I was going to break it.

Skanking is like dancing only it requires less skill... people that know ska music know what I'm talking about, but yeah Amanda got the idea to skank, so we skanked.  I have a large room with a wood floor, so it's all cool.

Skanking looks like a lot of fun... a friend of mine used to do it all the time to Ska concerts we went to.  I like moshing at punk concerts instead though... not the meat moshing you see at mainstream rock concerts (that's pretty lame).

Oh, and I get Mario Kart tomorrow... hopefully from FedEx.

In Canada, when one goes "skanking", its means something much differant than dancing.

after playing mario kart for an hour last night, i have several questions i'm hoping someone (probably an aussie) can answer.

as far as the kart's capabilities, does it matter which character is driving the kart?  e.g. if i'm driving bowser's kart with bowser and baby mario, does it matter (as far as the kart handles) which character is driving?

if the first character i pick is bowser, and i want my second character to be either donkey kong or diddy kong, does it matter which one i pick?  since i've already picked bowser i've already determined i can only use a heavy kart, and since both of the kongs have the same special item, is there going to be any difference between the two?

do some character's special items appear more frequently than others?  i used baby mario and baby luigi for a couple races (not at the same time, always paired up with a different character) and i never got either of their special item.  it's not because they were always driving, either.  my only thoughts are either i had some weird luck, or really good special items appear less frequently than others.

Now my friends and I are going to have to skank to Mario Kart music when I get it.

Or maybe not.  I suppose it depends on how funkious we think it is.

here's a question i just thought of, when you unlock the secret characters, do you ever race against them in the single player game?

I noticed that there's no logo on the box and nothing mentioned in the instructions regarding the using of Logitech's SpeedForce Wheel. I tried switching out the controller last night and it didn't feel very intuitive. (A slight nudge on the wheel was all you needed to make turns - too much and you'd go off the track)

Is it just me?

What about those of you who've tried it out at the mall tour? How did it feel then?

(It's gotta be just me....)
