I just baught mine today and as soon as I started I played 3 players with my bro and sis. I can say that honestly I was not having much fun on 50 cc racing. Then I played one player and it got alittle better, then I played co-op and had a blast, then I blayed 3 player battle and had a super amazingly great time. I love this game, but I think 50cc is way too slow. And now I am loving one player, I love how there is so much going on with the characters all at once.

As for the battle arenas I dont see how so many people don't like them as much as I do. IMO they are much better then the ones in Mario Kart 64 becuase the ones in that game were far to complex and huge. But these smaller and less complicated arenas are much more like the SNES stages in my opinion. Does anyone agree with me even the slightest? And each one of the new battle modes is pure gold, I almost never played Battle on the 64 version but this one I can see that I will be playing for quite some time. I love this Mario Kart, and I love Nintendo.

I got my copy of mario kart DD today and what can i say , i played for about 3 hours with my friends (4p action) and by far this game is the best for multiplayer, so much fun but the sucky thing about this game is taht u cant jump or have an equal car as the others, like in MK64 it didnt matter who u were ex. wario, or any heavy chars, but on this one, u cant use a heavy car because the light cars always get more speed than the heavy car, anyways the cars are tight, the bonus are cool 2 they all different stuff and a lot of chars make the game almost a 10/10 go buy it i recommend it,

i dont know if there is more tracks they might be locked or something, because there theres only 3 cups, but theyr locked i believe otherwise the game would be 2 short, i unlocked a couple cars but thats all i recomend it go buy it

Yes! I also love the battle maps now! Shine thief on the Gamecube level is AWESOME.

I got mine yesterday, beat 50cc, and i'm workin on 100cc. One thing i wished it had... the ability to jump. I usually like to jump into a turn and slide around it.. then to just slide around it. As far as the 2 driver hting, it works out pretty well. I realize it's more of a multi game but I bought it for single player cuz that's what i usually play on my cube. It's a decent single player... but i had funner time racing in mk64 than this one. Oh wells.. gonna play it some more. Gotta get the unlockables.

Bill, I finish all my games 100%. Its a strange obsession (fetish?) I have about video games. I HAVE to complete them or I'll go MAD.

I got mine yesterday too. I love this game. SO much better than ANY other Mario Kart. Babies Mario and Luigi have an awesome special item. I haven't played battle yet though.

Bill, i love the game so much i finished it as quick as possible so i can beat it over and over and over again. Why take your time, when you can play it more?

EDIT: This is quasi-related to MK. It's on the bonus disk anywho. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was fun for like 2 seconds, then it got annoyingly repetative. Oh and FZero is HARD!

Anyway, back to Mario Kart. The most fun ive had with it so far has been 4 player Shine Thief in the GameCube battle arena, and the rest of the game is super fun too, i havent had a game of MKDD that wasnt fun, yet.

Oh and, one of the secret (SERIOUSLY, IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE SECRETS ARE, STOP READING NOW)characters, Petey Piranha, looks HILARIOUS when hes racing.

I purchased this game today, and so far, it rocks. I had a N64 since March of 1997, but never owned MarioKart64; rented a few times but never bought it. I am not making that mistake this time. 60FPS and no slowdown is great. Gameplay seems even more refined than in MK64. I dont know if it will get game of the year; Zelda might have that spot, but game of the season for sure.
