especially after everyone has allready layed down money for memory cards and soforth, a 1gb hdd just for saving would be a better idea, anything bigger is just a waste, considering the size of the GCN save files.

Considering I already plan to get MK: DD, Killer 7, a GBP (along with Metroid Fusion, Fire Emblem, and Mario and Luigi), Metroid Prime 2, Wind Waker 2, and probably Star Fox 2, as well as any other upcoming games that look good enough. . . jeezus. I don't have that much moolah.

on the zelda topic, I just arrived back to cali about 3 days ago. I just seen Master and Commander the movie. And that movie reminded me so much about wind waker i played that night. all the music and ocean reminded me, and the ships.

Did it really remind you of WW? Jeez, that's one more reason for me to see it. I heard it was excellent. Now its a must see. I wanted to see Kill Bill but they took it out of theaters before I turned 17.

BUT! I have friend who works at a theater that shows movies after they are out of normal theaters and it should be coming this weekend...the EXACT weekend I'm leaving for stupid Thanksgiving....stupid pointless holiday. Puritans can rot in hell for all I care. Or freeze... Whatever, at least I get off school. YIPEE!

Nintendo could release a harddrive for GC, then release roms online of older nintendo games to dl (response to emulation of all old nintendo games), for it through the broadband adapters (a way to get more bba out for future lan games...)

they could also fix the memory card problem primarily with sports games, by having a harddrive. they could release demos and news every month via dl through the bba's to the harddrives either for a small fee or free for buying the hd...
they can do alot of stuff with harddrives if they have the drive to...

why put that in your profile, jokes such as that have been made since the snes's slots weren't used, theyre old and played out. like the atari jaguar cd add on being a cup holder... a bad nes game being a coaster, or a door pad...

now back to the rumors, what do you all think the new product coming this spring will be?
since it looks to be about the history of videogames, primarily nintendo, and its supposed to be hardware, I think it could be something that's going to let us play most of all the old nintendo games, maybe all emulated. with the reissues of snes games on gba, the windwaker OT bonus, the Rebel Strike old arcade bonuses, and now the Zelda old games bonus for buying a GC, I see this as a trend that might be leading to something significant.
what do you think the new product will be?

I seriously hope Nintendo's next console has a built in hard drive- it allows for use of the disc medium without the need for memory cards. Memory cards should definitely still be sold for when you're taking a saved game over to a friend's house, but a hard drive should be standard in every next gen console.

Heh yeah. And once they have that, all they need to do is stick a hose in another empty hole so you can bathe and you are set for life. You will never need to leave your GCN room wherever that may be.

the latest famitsu weekly says Nintendo's The Legend Of Zelda The Four Swords will be hitting Japanese stores in Feb of 04 for the Gamecube.

I just heard a rumor that there is going to be a silver GC bundle with a silver Wavebird, along with Metroid and SSB:M and a memory card 251 for 119.99 in March. Apparently, EB has heard some inklings of this, but i stress there is no concrete evidence, which is why i put it in the rumor section. Spring is notoriously the slowest time of year, so it would be a good idea if true.
