introduction and a few intresting rumors

hello my real name is han i work for a mag company not in the us, i can't say much for risk of getting fired,so hello. my job is to find news on the japanese video game industry. i have 3 rumors for you today. both of these sources aren't very good so it is still intresting.

1. spice cube heading to NA for the release of donkey konga as a special edition color. this might be fake but i heard it on some other forums

2. The reason for capcom saying that Viewtiful joe was not exclusive was because theirs a gameboy advance version in the works according to a capcom worker, i spoke to on a chat conversation.

3. the rumored 40 gb hard drive is actually a 30 gb

I'm not sure this is allowed. . . though I don't recall a rule against it.  Maybe not.  Whatever.

Well, wouldn't VJ technically still be exclusive? As long as the same game isn't ported to PS2 then its exclusive. That's like....before FF Origins, the games were exclusive on the SNES even though the sequels came out for PS.

I want a Spice cube....

Um...that may not be the best idea. Especially if you cannot site a source other than "some other forums". You could get in trouble.

Trouble = first getting scolded by Bloodworth/Ty(SUPER), then banned if you commit a serious offense(flaming, trolling, etc...)  Read the ToS for a more indepth description...

As long as you have a source, you should be fine...Welcome to the boards, and post at the "Newbie topic" in General Chat on your way out... ^_^

I think rumors have a lot to do with why people BUY magazines by the way. They raise peoples hopes and they like the magazine 'cause it says something that benefits them. Then the mag reports nothing on the matter again and the person forgets. One more person likes the mag.

I only care for exclusive rumors, not rumors i can find out by just scouring forums or reading websites. Oh and, welcome.

Also IIRC a handheld does not count as a consle so even if a Gameboy game was in would have no effect on that. For example, I believe Sony could still say that Kingdom Hearts is PS2 exclusive even thought there is a GBA game being made.

Am I the only one who thinks that the fact that you "can't say much for risk of getting fired", yet then proceed to only post stupid rumours found on various online forums just doesn't add up? Nor does your use of grammar for that matter.

Regarding your 'rumours':

1. I haven't a clue if Nintendo will release the Spice Cube with Donkey Konga, but I guess it could make sense.

2. Capcom have stated that they would like to port VJ to PS2, but are concerned whether it is technically possible. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be as Joe doesn't do anything the PS2 couldn't handle. I personally hope they do release it for PS2 as it deserves to sell a lot more than it currently has. A GBA version could be cool also, although I think there may have to be some control sacrifices made for that to happen which would suck.

3. There will never be a harddrive for the GameCube. That is a bollocks rumour that has no substance.

Except, ak, except.

Will Capcom end up porting VJ to the PS2? I thought they were under some kind of cotract forbidding that. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking... Oh and is VJ not selling well? I know it didn't do too well in Japan, but I thought it did fine in America.
