I'm not sure how bad you are at GTA IV, but I never had to retry any mission more than once.
Because "stuff" means "missions," right? There are a number of non-story related things you can do in GTA4, and most of them are incredibly boring. Bowling and all those game suck. The vigilante missions are not anywhere near as fun or dynamic as the bounties in Red Dead Redemption. Paramedic and taxi missions are the same thing as in every GTA game, and they were always kind of touch and go. The whole friendship thing was awesome if you loved playing the terrible minigames over and over again.
RDR does not look at all interesting to me, story wise
Because you can possibly know the story without playing the game. After all, watching several four-minute video reviews of a game that's easily 15-20 hours long will tell you everything you need to know about all the characters and situations in the game, the quality of the writing, and the finesse with which pertinent themes and allusions were embedded in a story that takes place a hundred years ago.
or gameplay wise.
Okay, so you don't like GTA?
I also doubt it has more stuff than GTA IV considering how much stuff was in there
Well I sure am glad that you, having never touched the game in your entire life, and with no plans to ever do so, think that you know more about what is or isn't in the game than somebody who has sunk well over ten hours into it so far.
I suspect that you just have a bug up your butt about things with a western theme.
