Those threads are a direct result of The Funhouse no longer being any fun. everyone is all wound up tight with no release and forum has become serious business.

We need a new forum name to get things back on track around here and people can stop being all serious. Do you know how many long ass post I've typed ever since the Funhouse has become boring......? a lot, and I'm sick of it. I have to cut myself off now before this turns into another one of them.

I personally feel that the first page of Nintendo Console is becoming to crowded. I mean there is 2 topics about what games should come to the VC. I mean we could be having that discusion in the VC monday thread. The other on about could go into the VC monday thread as well. I mean for some new member could come on the forums and it look like all we do is complain about things and not play games.

Also the next consoles discusion isn't needed IMO. Nintendo hasn't shown of anything.

He's a new member. Remember a lot of new members will create a lot of threads and post a lot before settling into more of a routine. I say cut him a bit of slack.

What behavior? Unfortunately, it's not against the rules to post on these forums (yet).

The guy creates a lot of topics. They all happen to be relevant, there aren't existing topics covering the exact same discussion, and--judging from the number of replies--most of them are topics that people want to discuss.

I think its refreshing to have a new member with excitement and energy like him. Of the last dozen legitimate (non-bot/spam/FC post only) members he's actually posting for more than a day or so and bailing on us.

I'm not sure what to make of Kytim89. It seems like sometimes he just repeats himself, or things that other people say. I don't think that's really disruptive though, so I'm not sure what kind of behavior he needs a talking about.

If he didn't double post and put his posts together, then everything would be fine. Yet most of the things he makes topics for can easily be put into different topics.

I mean, games you want on VC, don't we already have a massive topic dedicated to Shop Channel updates?

Yes, but almost no one posts in there anymore. We already have at least one games you want on VC topic but it died eons ago. But when Kytim98 created a new thread suddenly all sorts of people came out of the woodwork and posted their missing gems. Sure, it's a redundant topic, but after the drama we've seen in some other recent topics it's nice to have a bit of fluff every once in a while.

Another thing is that he posts Spoilers without spoilering them. Maybe someone might want to point him to BlackNMilds "How to" topic.

^I already have several times. He a internet newb, I had to give him step by step instructions on uploading and then posting a pic. I also tried to change the look of the "How To" thread to make it a little easier to read. Now I need to add more content now that the tags have been fixed and I can edit it freely again.

But I think everyone put on kid gloves to welcome the new poster, because every topic he's posted has been talked about before and we all just joined in instead of bumping the old threads. Doesn't hurt that there have been rumors or activity prompting the revival of those same topics though. But we've all been trying hard to be welcoming since most new posters disappear after the 1st few post.

As soon as Maxi takes him under his wing and shows him the ropes (are you really gonna do that?), then he should be all right. But I think you're right vudu, after all the "Wall of ___" threads I think people just wanted to talk about something lighter and less serious.
