I just went through the tread about to add everyone.

This is why I hate Nintendo!

Too many numbers!

Anyone know if it matters what name I put in? Will it just sync up later?

I believe it will sync up later.

Its like if Nintendo just made all your online games go with your system code! EA's online at least in Tiger lets you do that!

At least in MKWii and Conduit you can add people you are playing with on the fly.

Though Pro didn't want to friend me :( Though it could be because his list is full.

I finally tried this game out the other night. I think it is just a little too goofy for comfort. I've always found inanimate objects that resemble a living thing to be strange, so the vehicles in this game are very unsettling. This is one of the most random games I've ever played, they mixed in quick bits from so many sports just because... they could? I still don't know what everything does. What in the wold is a sandwich?

I tried to play online but I gave up after a few minutes of "Searching for match..." Is there no one still out there who plays this game?

Ah so you took my advice and started playing this.

I would imaging that most Excitebots players moved over to Excitebike:World Rally.

I haven't played this recently but I can play you if you'd like. I tend to be a ok player. EasyCure I admit is better than me at this but I am better than him on others so it evens out.

i definitely prefer Excite Trucks and World Rally over it.  The game uses looks and mini games that are just embarrassing rather than so cheesy its good.

The two games are quite different so I doubt it, plus I don't see very many people online in that game anyway. I think it is because Excitebots sold like cold cakes so few people own it.

I'll have to get my code for you sometime. Though I'm guessing that you can't have a combination of friends and randoms in the same race?

i still havent' finished this game :(
What do you mean by finish? Completing all of the cups doesn't seem like it would take all that much time, though 100% completion would take a while because of how many stars are needed to obtain all of the little extras.

I'd probably be up for playing whenever you might get your Internet fixed. I'm not one of those people who puts a game away after a certain amount of time and never plays it again.

Yeah, I get the feeling that it would have performed better sales-wise if it were titled "Excite Truck 2".

Um, did I say it wasn't? I simply said that it would have sold better if it were Excite Truck 2, that doesn't mean that it would have been a better game.

I can see why people like it as many people don't like racing games, and the mini games keep it fresh.  But for racing fans like me, the constant interruptions are just annoying.  Excite Truck and Mario Kart however have just the right balance w/o crossing the line to having the mini games dominate the action.

see, i'd consider myself a fan of facing games but my favorite racers are f-zero, the latest excite games (havent tried rally tho) and mario kart, while things like need for speed and gran turismo bore the living **** outta me.. so i guess i don't count?

i guess i'm more of an arcade-racer fan, because i like the over the top gameplay these titles offer.. which is why excitebots kicks ass :D

mm.. sandwhich!

Speaking of which, can anyone tell me what a "sandwich" is? Do you have to smash a vehicle in between another vehicle?

I'm pretty sure it means you actually make a sandwich while you're driving your bot.
