Oh, and the other Mario game I want is a WiiWare game full of a bunch of levels like the ones in Galaxy with Mario in a bubble and you use the pointer to blow him around. I loved those and really wished there were more.
When I played that the first time, I thought "this would make an awesome Mario Party minigame". It needs to be multiplayer because it just isn't as fun with nobody around to laugh at your failing miserably at it.

I failed miserably a lot in the Ball rolling one and some in the Manta Ray surfing one but I don't think I ever did in those ones.

I misread your post, I thought you were talking about the ball-rolling ones.  :-[ Yeah, the bubble ones weren't so bad because it was a lot easier to control. As an aside, there is a game for the Game Boy called Bubble Ghost which plays exactly like the bubble-blowing parts of Super Mario Galaxy.

A sign of things to come this E3?

1. Yes it will be funny. Ripping Nintendo off is always funny.
2. Sorry Pro, 3rd parties are not that giving.
3. Mario Galaxy was casual? HOLY **** NINTENDO IS RUINING THEM!!111

I'm not sure what you mean by this but those candies are awesome. A sign that there will be mixed reactions at E3?

There are some things I would like to see in particular at this years E3, both in a general industry sense and a Nintendo fan sense.

First, I'd like to see two... "embargoes," if you will, end and die in a fire.  The first is the Japan/America Embargo, that being rock jawesome Wii games never coming over here for... some reason.  Like Namco's Fragile, for instance.  Also I would like to see Japanese developers take an interest in their own damn homeland and support the market leader there, which leads me to the second Embargo, that being the embargo of effort/big franchises from the Wii.  At this point, it's either an intense stupidity or a childish grudge, and either way it must stop.  Nintendo even proved that they could launch a pretty weak late '08 lineup and still beat both your half-assed Wii lineups and most of your full effort PS360 games as far as sales are concerned.  Now imagine they have a much stronger line-up with the buzz of the Wii Motion Plus and the buying force of the largest userbase.  Releasing a bunch of minigame-fests and party games is definitely not the answer, and such behavior is even the basis of that Rabbids Go Home Trailer.  Also, the sequels to your cash-ins aren't selling at all.  Man up, put your best people on Wii projects.  Oh yeah, and don't expect the massive Wii userbase to simply by your game for existing.  Be proud of it, market it thoroughly.  Don't ship them under cover of night with ninja truck drivers.  Don't tuck them into the back of your portfolio like they are diseased.  And this goes double for Japanese devs, who seem to basically ignore their own market, condemn consoles to death and sell out to American gamer interests, all because they stupidly don't want to support the Wii... for some reason.  The funny thing is, if you guys simply be yourselves, you'll get more access to more American gamers than simply being posers, cuz you know, Wii's #1 here too.

Treat Wii owners like second-class gamers, and you'll get second-class dollars, is all I'm saying.  There's a reason Nintendo's pulling down a ton of money and you aren't.

As a Nintendo fan, well...  I'd like to see a lot of money spread around.  Of course I'd like a new Zelda and such, and whatever Retro's up to, and Mario and Luigi 3 make it over.  That's all I really need.  But in relation t the above points, I want to see a veritable avalanche of software, almost leading up to next year's E3.  you've let the third parties blow every opportunity.  Now it's time to ensure your console has a quality lineup, if they won't.  Treat them like first-class gamers, and you'll get, you know.
It's time you saw the future while you still have human eyes.

When exactly is the conference anyway? I mean the time, preferrably in GMT.

I don't think an HD Wii would make sense, it'd pretty much reset the userbase while only improving the parts the Wii userbase doesn't care about anyway.

It would be rad if Nintendo bought some 3rd parties, just to ruin them, like they did to Monolith (effectively preventing them from making any RPGs for other systems).

Totally.

There had better be at least one new Mario game announced at E3 or a certain mop-obsessed forumer will not be happy.

I think this is a pretty safe bet.  Since the Gamecube era I don't think a year has gone by where Nintendo hasn't released at least one console game with Mario in it.  I'd be more shocked to see Nintendo start to use some restraint and restrict Mario to only a handful of series to make his appearances more special.

I completely agree with Deg.  There is nothing I would want more for the Wii than for third parties to get their **** together.  I would be less hard on Nintendo if third parties were giving the Wii their big games.  Because of the weak third party support I have to look to Nintendo to provide me with Wii games I actually want to play (like on the N64 and Gamecube).  Nintendo's weak E3 last year wouldn't have mattered as much if all the big third party games that came out of the other consoles last year had been made for the Wii instead.  I obviously want Nintendo to make great games too but their non-gaming endeavors wouldn't be so irritating if third parties could pick up the slack.  When Nintendo is the ONLY Wii developer I can rely on to make anything worth a **** then, yeah, I'm going to want ALL of their projects to be core games.  Third parties bring their big guns to the table and Nintendo releasing only one or two games a year I'm interested in is more acceptable.

I want to see Wii Fit 2 with a fleshed out and fun "routine" mode.  I've been playing Shaun White lately and it has me hankering for more balance board love.

I know I'll get flamed, but meh, I want to see a jaw dropping Kid Icarus for Wii.  Something that really makes me long for that game.

I'd also like to see a big third party series (besides Monster Hunter) make a shift to the Wii.  That could be Square actually showing Dragon Quest 10, but I'd like something totally unannounced to this point.  I think that should be is Kingdom Hearts 3 with Nintendo themed worlds.  Some other candidates would be Okami 2 (assuming they could get a competent team together to do it), Pixel Junk series (I'm not sure if that's even legally possible), etc.

I don't know about WiiFit2, but it there has been mention of WiiFit+ which I'm assuming makes use of the wiimote, nunchuck & M+ for more varied exercises & minigames. Possibly even multiplayer exercises & games. that is definitely something I'm on the lookout for.

Nintendo does need to announce more games that make use of the balance board. If they don't, it will just be another "one hit" peripheral in the same way that R.O.B. and the Zapper were. When you consider the price of the balance board you can see why someone would be reluctant to invest in that if there is only a total of two games that make any use of it.

But there are atleast a dozen or two games that support the Balance Board and not all of them are fitness games. I'm sure WiiWare has plenty of games that support the Balance Board too, so I know its not just a case of 4-5 games that support the Balance Board.

Don't know why, but I am expecting KH 3 to hit the PS3. No offense but it sounds like a fanboy's wet dream come true.

However, I would like to see a TRUE Nintendo crossover game. No, the Subspace Emissary in Brawl does not count.
