I would assume you can't truly enclose.  So they'll still fly towards and away from the screen.

The first level I ever made for Marathon (aka. Halo 0) was called "The Box" and the name was appropriate.

We actually loved the Zelda II Temple because of the "Cave of Invincibility" where players would typically hide out after they reached 100% damage and could reach 300-400% as long as they stayed in the cave because it made them nigh-impossible to smash out. You basically had to ricochet them and get lucky in order to KO them out of the cave.

It made for great fun.

Also break the target would be hard to make because the targets could be out of reach but appear to not be.  Does that make sense?
Very simple solution here: require the creator of the map to qualify it by beating it before he can play it outside of the editor.

Nintendo have depth with a level editor? HA.  The Little Big Planet editor is powerful enough that you could recreate any level in the game.  This Smash one looks very simple.

I hope someday Nintendo will open up more to let us sharing custom things without friend codes.  I play Trackmania Nations on my PC.  It includes a fairly simple level editor and users have created thousands of tracks with it.  Nintendo couldn't have something that allows you host a game with custom content without a friend code, even anonymously, because someone my spell a bad word with the track pieces.

The depth will clearly come from the player's creativity and imagination. It may look simple but I've seen people create some insane stuff with very simple tools (see Mii channel). So don't dismiss it so early on. Also, I think what Golden meant was that the most hyped feature in LBP is level customization when Brawl and many other games will have it.

I just hope someone has already mention that stickerbush symphony/bramble blast is the most awesome videogame song ever and makes this game too awesome for words.

You may not need to fill in the box.  I think when you're star-smashed you pass through all obsticles above you, so you can totally seal the level if you want.

Maybe they're friend vouchers and credits like in Metroid Prime 3... and you wouldn't be shopping, you'd be exchanging.

Coins are trophy related for sure. There probably is a lottery, but I see there are coins like that in the adventure mode as well, and you throw them at enemies to turn them into trophies.

DK does it in this video to a Koopa Troopa: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/26644.html

I think that's just a fancier way of picking up trophies in-game like in the Adventure Mode of Melee...I'm pretty certain we'll be using coins in the same way we used them in Melee as well...

I would not call vending machine shopping because you get a random prize, but I guess it won't be that.

Maybe something like Pachinko, which would be very simple, fast and fun.

well with subspace being modea theres bound to be atleast a modeb or modec as wifi is in its own cat as wifi if subspace was the only one to have a huge focus it probably wouldn't be called modea, though I could see modeb easily being event mode as that would go pretty indepth

Couldn't you just have friendly fire turned off in one mode and on in another?  That's the naming scheme they used to use back in the day.

Looks like Ninty's ninjas have finally gotten word on the tidbit about Krystal being in the game...The credits involving Brawl have been completely removed from AlesiaGlidewell.com...

Would be kind of over-kill if she were just an Assist Trophy or minor story character, no? *shrug*
