I have to hand it to the Mad Gear Mafia. I think I've finally figured out their plan. Their making sure to hit all the people who will actually post and are thereby slowing the game down to a halt. Then with no one else voting or posting, they can slowly hit every one else and win the game. Or they can just let the game go on infinitely and never lose. Brilliant. Of course, this means Shyguy and Vudu are probably doomed because they post way too much. Need to conform guys.

But we should also remember that part of this problem is from the barrel. I have my suspicions that the barrel is probably someone who doesn't want me back in the game. That or the person who is the barrel doesn't want to use his power because he's afraid he might get voted out. Then once he's been voted out, he can bring himself back in the game. I can only say that is very selfish of you Mr. Barrel.

Look at the vacant roles that are open. The vigilante, the cop,.... the bomber.

In case your wondering, this is my last appeal to the barrel.

I've made my case numerous times. If the barrel is playing this game, he can see the situation. He has the ability to increase theances for a win but if he wants to squander it, go ahead. It's your role.

And now for my first threat to the barrel. Mr. Barrel, I'll be hosting the next mafia game and unless you want me too screw you over big time, you'll meet my demands. Moo who ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Hey, I know I'm not dead, but I just wanted to make a request to Khush since he's hosting next. Can you make some sort of participation stipulation? I'm getting annoyed by these "players" who sign up, then don't post and dont vote. "Perhaps I shouldn't of signed up for Mafia when I knew I was going on a trip to Tibet for 2 weeks Hurrrrrr"

Having a public role that is seperate from your private role would allow more interaction. The private role be the generic roles with no personality. Or you could go with a trait ex. You play a character who is scared of Spiders of all kinds. Than find a way to reward roleplaying.
In the end the no talking is BS. Plain and simple.

Hey guys. Thanks for the advice. Definitely posting should be mandatory but I also think there should be some leeway. But don't worry about next game. Also, too, I've been studying mafia games in anticipation for my hosting to see what works and what doesn't work, so it should be pretty good. Plus, I do have some twists I want to add. So, I'm basically finalizing the game and just watching how this plays out.

Double posting because I feel like upping my post count (and who doesn't) and addressing one other thing Ceric mentioned about roleplaying. I do appreciate the fact some people like to do that but I'm not going to make it mandatory. I'm not going to force anyone to take on a role. I wasn't even sure if I was going to have a Pokemon avatar for Pale's game but peer pressure won out. Basically, it will just be optional like before. It does make the game enjoyable I know, but not everyone wants to be stuck to a role.

One other thing, I just thought I'd address is how I talked about things that work. And one thing that's really struck me is the barrel role. It seems to have helped keep the dead people in line as no one wants to spill things so that they get a chance back in the game. So far, it seems to be the best deterent I've seen to keep dead people silent. Good job, Ty. Now make that barrel use his role so we can all begin to blab out information!

I can't believe people didn't figure out Rimmer was Maki. He even said that he a rather useless role. Of the roles left, the most useless was Maki. I believed him and figured it out but ohhhh no. The townies voted out their brains on day 1.

By the way dead people, I was speaking to the Barrel (because I was able to identify him) and he said that he has used his power to bring someone back. I don't know if it will be me or someone else because he said he used a random number generator to choose someone and the smae thing for which role they will have. So get ready. It could be anyone dead coming back. And, you might be going back as a Mad Gear mafia member. Or Skull Goon. Awesome!
