The only flaw in your logic is that Ceric would be a tool for the townies. How can you be sure that Ceric wouldn't use his hit to take out a worthwhile townie? Or what if the other mafia made a deal with Ceric and they worked together? Saying a mafia is going to work with the townies isn't a for sure thing. In the end, the remaining mafia knows that the townies will turn on him. Is not reasonable that he'll try to strike first?
That's why I felt we should just remove the one mafia first. Yes, it means the mafia gets a hit every night but look at the situation. With this amount of townies compared to mafia, the advantage is still townies. Moreover, the townies are aided by the fact that they still have some good helping roles like the cop and the whores to sway the vote in their favor.
If they lose the game, it's because they didn't bring me back in. Though, seriously, it's because of the inability to listen to anyone who speaks up with reason and voting them out instead. Plus, the fact that they've formed different groups and view other groups with suspicion. Plus, the group naming gives the mafia a good idea who to hit first.
That's why I keep begging the barrel to bring me back. At this point, they need a mediator who can bridge the groups together, can speak up without fear of retribution, and can blow up a couple people fast.
Bringing me back would mean I come in, post my suspicions, concentrate a vote on someone suspicious, talk to the townies and get their top suspects and then blow myself up that night, targetting two suspicious people.
Benefits:
1. Townie groups stay together instead of being picked off by mafia thereby further closing in on who else could be mafia,
2. They get a fresh perspective and put different people under the microscope instead of the same ones over and over,
3. with my death get the oppurtunity to eliminate two top suspects allowing them to move on to new people of interest.
4. What this means is 3 deaths according to the townies wishes. You have a good chance of hitting a mafia member or at least hopefully narrowing the remaining suspects much faster.
Remember, the other mafia has an investigator that is checking your roles every night. He's searching for your cop and other good roles to eliminate your advantages.
Also, I have a very good track record for targetting mafia members.

EDIT: Also, Decoyman wants a more active poster in the mafia thread and I can definitely fill that role, so if you don't want to bring me back because of my reasonings, at least do it for Decoyman.
EDIT 2: If you bring me back, I can blow up some of the casual players which Shyguy and Stabby were alluding too. Ah, barrel. You have such power but don't seem able to use it.
