Wow, comparing Kirby DS to GBA and Advance Wars DS to GBA it becomes clear Advance Wars has done very well!

Forgive me, but I just noticed this.

Classic Nes Series: Super Mario Bros. - 548,027
Classic Nes Series: The Legend Of Zelda - 360,732
Classic Nes Series: Zelda II: Adventure Of Link - 246,313
Classic Nes Series: Dr. Mario - 236,343
Classic Nes Series: Pac-Man - 197,472
Classic Nes Series: Metroid - 148,691
Classic Nes Series: Castlevania - 117,521
Classic Nes Series: Excitebike - 72,418
Classic Nes Series: Ice Climber - 69,186
Classic Nes Series: Bomberman - 62,303
Classic Nes Series: Xevious - 49,092
First, I can't believe so many people bought SMB.  Here I was thinking that the Japanese are absolutely crazy for buying the re-re GBA release and now I find out that we're just as crazy.

Second, I can't believe Pac-Man sold so well.  I don't even remember this game being released on NES.  Although I suppose it's pretty stupid to think it wasn't.  But still, who'd buy that when you can get one of the fifteen Namco collections that include Pac-Man plus another 3 or 4 games for the same price?

Third, are there really only 11 Classic NES Series games released?  That seems like an odd number.  Are we missing one?

Fourth, I can't believe so many people actually bought this game.  Don't they know they can spend an extra $10 and get Zero Mission, complete with unlockable NES Metroid?  Just sad.

And last, why hasn't there been a Classic NES Tetris released?  You'd think this would be perfect.  Especially considering no one's made a good Tetris game since Tetris Attack (or maybe Tetris DX; I can't remember which one came out more recently).  Is there a problem with licensing?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Yeah it's a licencing issue.  Nintendo used to have the rights to Tetris but now THQ does.  Why else do you think the GBA Tetris game is horrible?

I thought Princess Peach came out this week?

Anyway, I was right on with my PSP estimate (26,000-29,000) but a little off on my DS estimate (50,000). When do/does Peach come out? This current week?

I expect a hold for the DS around 40,000. If those games haven't come out yet then it could climb a little to around 48,000. PSP should continue it's drop to around 24-26,000.
